Story
Apply to Adopt Me!   Asha is an approx. 2yo, 56lb. boxer mix, with a sleek black coat, white chest, white around her muzzle and four white paws. Her trainer says she definitely has a boxer personality. She was recently saved from euthanasia at the shelter. She had a GI foreign body that looked like a round cylinder on x-rays. Once out of the shelter and safely with rescue, she had surgery and turns out the foreign body in her stomach was a small billiard ball. She bounced back from the surgery like a champ. She is such a goofy girl and so happy - her tail is constantly wagging. Everyone she meets is her best friend. She LOVES to cuddle and snuggle with her person. She just loves to be loved on and is so sweet. She is house trained, crate trained, walks well on leash, rides great in the car, sleeps through the night and is very treat motivated, taking treats gently. She has completed a board and train program learning all her basic commands, crate training and what's acceptable for a dog her size. Her trainer says that she is extremely smart, a willing learner, and is doing great. Her adopter will need to attend a training session with her in Orlando to go over what she has learned, and must continue with her training once home. With proper intros, she enjoys playing with dogs her size or larger. If the home has another dog, it must be a dog that enjoys high energy play. She is not a big barker. Asha loves chasing and retrieving a tennis ball. Asha is heartworm positive at this time, and is on the rescue's slow kill protocol, which we can explain that process to any interested applicant. She can enjoy regular activities. Heart worm disease is contracted from an infected mosquito and can not be transmitted to another dog. We are requiring either a fenced-in yard for her or someone who can be active with her with a couple of walks or runs a day. She enjoys sunning for short periods, but prefers to be outside only if her person is outside with her. She's a huge people dog. Her adoption fee is sponsored. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Asha, please complete an application and tell us more about your family.      January 20, 2026, 10:42 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application Kiwi is clever, intelligent, and full of determination. She may be tiny, but she is truly mighty. Adventurous and curious by nature, Kiwi is an expert explorer and can solve just about any challenge, so she will need a tall, secure, escape-proof yard and home. Much like a cat, Kiwi loves to climb and observe the world from above. When she isn’t exploring, she wants to be right by your side and makes an excellent cuddle companion—especially for someone who doesn’t mind sharing their bed with a puppy. Kiwi does wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and thrives on human attention. She bonds closely with her people and wants to be included in daily life as much as possible. Kiwi would do best in a home that can match her curiosity, intelligence, and affectionate nature.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 27, 2026, 7:00 am

Story
Regan is a female Boxer mix.  She is 2 years old, spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, microchipped, and weighs 50 lbs.  Regan does not get along with all dogs and sometimes plays "too hard" with other dogs.  Regan is not aggressive at all with people and loves everyone, but she should be an only dog.  She is more comfortable with women but can learn to trust a man, she's a bit afraid of men at first meeting.  To be on the safe side, no young children.  Regan was found emaciated as a pup.  But she has grown to be a super loyal, fun and smart dog, she needs a stable, safe environment, a fenced-in yard, with no other dogs, cats or children around and she will continue to flourish!  Her adoption donation is $200 which includes her spay, vaccinations and microchip. She is currently in a foster home and we are requesting an approved application prior to a meet and greet. Regan has so much love to share with her family! https://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/store/p31/Regan.html We are only able to adopt within the state of Florida. We have a page on our website that explains our adoption process, and contains a link to our adoption application.
