Hi! I’m "Princess", a wonderful canine companion in search of my furever home. I was rescued from a neglectful situation and was in a good foster situation until my caretaker passed away. I am a 5-6 year old, and have been spayed, microchipped and up on all my shots, including the 1 year heartworm shot. Medical records are at Spruce Creek Animal Clinic in Port Orange, under the care of Dr. Hancock. I’ve been told I am a sweetheart, overflowing with affection, strong and have boundless energy. I would be the perfect playmate for playing fetch and wrestling. I would love a large fenced in yard to run around in and expel all my energy. Most of all, I thrive on attention and love to be doted on. I am 65 pounds of muscle. I am crate trained. I have not been around children at all and cats and I don’t get along. Bob is a very affectionate dog who loves attention. My husband has dementia and I personally am not in good health,so we are unable to care for them anymore. Bob loves to be outside and loves to run and play, especially with his sister who is also listed on this website. (They have never been separated). He is leash trained but gets so excited on walks that he does pull a bit.

Jojo is being fostered in Illinois. She has some vision. Hi. My name is Jojo. I am a 4-year-old boxer mix. I like to think of myself as a playful happy-go-lucky gal. I may not see you well because close objects are like shadows and a little blurry to me, but I know you are there. I get along well with all the cats and dogs in my foster home. I like cats. But I may need slow introductions with little feisty dogs. But I would love to go to a home that has many friendly 4-legged buddies. I like to be active and meet people and other dogs. However, I am not too good with children because a lot of time kids either approach me too fast or gather around me, which makes me so scared that I have to give a warning snap. But I do love my walks. Even more, I love an open field that I can have all to myself so I can let out a lot of my energy. At home, I like to relax and sit at my spot while my foster daddy is doing his work. Everyday, I get to be petted and it makes me feel loved. I am housebroken. However, every once in a while, I have accidents because anxiety gets the best of me when I realize my foster dad has not been home for a while. I will do well in a home where someone is present 90-95 percent of time, perhaps with someone who works out of home or is an active retired person. Blind Dog Rescue has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
