Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Cooper!  Cooper is a loyal, loving boy who is once again looking for his forever home through Pet Rescue By Judy. He was originally adopted from us several years ago and spent four happy years with his family. Unfortunately, he was recently returned due to changes in the dynamic between him and the family’s other dog.  Cooper lived successfully with another dog for years, but as both dogs aged, tensions began to develop. After much thought and with Cooper’s best interest at heart, the family made the very difficult decision to return him to the rescue so their senior dog—who had been with them longer and would struggle with a transition—could remain in the only home he has known. This was a loving, heartbreaking decision made out of care for both dogs.  Now Cooper is ready for his next chapter—and he has so much love and adventure to offer.  Cooper is an active, happy companion who truly enjoys life. He loves going camping, taking long car rides, and exploring new places. Whether it’s a road trip, a walk, or just spending time in the yard, Cooper is happiest when he’s included. He’s used to starting his mornings with long walks—often 3 to 4 miles—so he would be a fantastic match for an active individual or family who enjoys the outdoors.  Cooper enjoys playing in the yard, going just about anywhere with anyone, and being part of daily life. He’s the kind of dog who makes a great adventure buddy and loyal best friend  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 17, 2026, 9:13 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Rosie! This bio was written by a family that fostered Rosie for a couple weeks however the 3 cats in the home were not so happy with the new guest.Rosie is an active and affectionate companion who loves playing tug, going for runs, and splashing in natural waterways. While she is an older dog, she has plenty of energy and focus for training. She is highly toy-motivated and moderately food-motivated. Rosie truly loves her people; she will follow you from room to room and always greets you with a goofy smile. To ensure Rosie succeeds in her new home, there are a few important considerations:  - Supervision: She is capable of jumping a six-foot fence and requires supervision when in the backyard.  - Environment: She would do best as the only pet. While she can appear neutral around other animals, she struggles with confrontation.  - Support: Rosie deals with separation anxiety and an aversion to thunder. She needs a patient owner who can provide structure and continue working on these challenges. In my personal experience with Rosie, I have found her 'issues' to be quite manageable with time and practice. For example, by playing thunder noises during treat times, we were able to reduce her anxiety attacks from 30 minutes down to just five. She does excellently with car rides and leash walking, and she will even politely let you know when it is time for dinner.Rosie has been waiting for her forever home for some time now. She is a sweet, loving girl who just needs the right person or family to give her a chance to shine.Rosie is a sweet and loyal dog seeking her forever home.Rosie is a high-energy, older dog who loves running, swimming, and playing tug. She is toy and food-motivated, making her highly responsive to training. Due to her ability to jump 6-foot fences, she requires supervised outdoor time. While she experiences separation anxiety and thunder aversion, these are manageable; desensitization training has already reduced her storm-related anxiety from 30 minutes to five.Rosie is affectionate, enjoys car rides, and walks well on a leash. She would thrive as the only pet in a structured environment with a present and patient owner.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 17, 2026, 9:13 pm

Story
Henry is a sweet 8 month old boxer. He is full of boxer energy. He loves long road trips, naps, carrots, dog parks, and playing with our daughter's cat. Hes been around newborns through teens and loves to play and snuggle. He is pure, 100% boxer, and all the playful, high energy needs that come with the breed. There is a rehomeing fee, to help identify serious families. We purchased Henry from a breeder for 1100, and even adoption centers will run a couple hundred if not more - we want to protect Henry and also understand that adoption can be expense and we do want to make it accessible. So that he finds a loving home. He was recently neutered, also to ensure he wouldn't live a life of breeding, since he is pure with papers.
