He is a fun-loving 1-year-old Boxer-Staffie mix who is ready to rock your world. He's just a puppy and could use some leash training, but he's got a lot of good things going for him. First of all, he's unique and funny - he's got big floppy ears, and one is usually up and the other down. Secondly, he's good with other dogs. He was basically raised in an animal shelter so got used to having other pups around. He absolutely needs an active person or people and a yard would be a plus so he could run around, and then take a snooze. He is stocky and built like a tank, and weighs about 65 lbs. I was rescued from a California shelter where I was pretty terrified - I sat in the back and looked at people as they walked by. Now, whenever I go someplace new, I'm scared all over again, until I really bond with my person. I have done fine with other dogs so far, but I need someone who can take me in and work with me to help me become confident and secure. I weigh about 50-55 lbs. She is an amazing loving companion.

MEET ROMEO, a handsome, loyal, protective Black Mouth Cur. Romeo is a gorgeous 6-1/2-year-old male, and he weighs about 74 lbs. (His shelter paperwork says shepherd-boxer mix). Romeo loves to walk, hike and be with his person or people. He would be a wonderful companion for someone who loves to hike and go on exciting journeys! Romeo is a great guard dog and can be protective with people he does not know, so would do best in a non-congested area where neighbors aren't a concern or with an experienced adopter. Romeo also has a prey drive, so needs a strong owner. He has done great with other dogs in a home setting. He's incredibly smart, affectionate, and will attach to his person or people. His bond is very strong. He is not a big fan of kids. Romeo is easy to groom, is playful, and loves a good belly rub! He will benefit from exercise, and people who understand his breed. MEET SWEET LUKE! Luke is a happy & lovable 4-1/2-year-old Pit/Boxer/Lab mix in need of a foster or forever home! He had been adopted, but his owner died, and so he went back into our rescue. Luke is currently in Southern Washington and can be transported to Idaho if necessary. He has a wonderful disposition: He gets along great with other dogs and is very loving and affectionate to his people. He also loves to fetch balls and bring them back to you. Luke also isn't a big barker, unless someone barks at him. He walks well on a leash, and is a strong boy. He doesn't shed much! Luke also loves treats and is very treat motivated. He has done well with some cats but not others. He was rescued from a California shelter originally after he became urgent for lack of space. While there, he was kenneled with another female dog and did great. He's been tested with numerous dogs and has done well with everyone. He's a loving, easygoing boy who needs a home! We have had no leads for this seasoned pup since she arrived in Summer 2024!!!! ***NEEDS FOSTER or FOREVER HOME*** Currently in Boise boarding kennels SPARKLE is a sweet, adorable, almost 7-year-old, 75-lb boxer-terrier mix 💖 girl who will require a pet-free home without young children. She is deaf, but seems to know some hand signals. SPARKLE has a wonderful, loving disposition towards all people that she knows. She has been good with dogs on pack walks. SPARKLE is houstrained and cratetrained. She's mastered loose-leash walks and is great in vehicles. She really is a love, just curls up and sleeps most of the day in her kennel. She loves treats and can entertain herself with a long-lasting chew. We are looking for a home without other dogs at this time, as she has shown us to be quarrelsome when off-leash with other dogs and may not do well in big crowds/commotion so you can have her all to yourself. SPARKLE is spayed, microchipped and current on vaccines, so ready for her forever home. Hank is a senior pitbull that needs a wonderful home to live out his golden years. He is about 11 or 12 and has a little arthritis, other than that he is in pretty good shape! He is very good around adults, kids, individuals with disabilities, and loves LOVES to cuddle. He is not good with cats and prefers smaller dogs, although he is good with large dogs as long as a proper introduction is made. He is allergic to some things like grains and bison so he eats a grain free salmon meal from zamzows. He has separation anxiety since his owner is currently in jail so he will ultimately need a human who he can be around most of the time or be taken along for car rides and errands with his human. He’s very good in a home and loves a backyard to sniff around and lay out in the sun. He ultimately just wants to be your best friend and be your entire world. ♥️
