Story
Meet Harley — the kind of dog you don’t just adopt, you keep forever. 🐾Harley is a 5-year-old good boy in every sense of the word. He’s polite, gentle, and incredibly loyal — the type of dog who just wants to be near his people, soaking up every moment together. After spending 1.5 long years waiting at the shelter, Harley is more than ready to trade concrete floors for a couch, a yard, and a family to call his own. This handsome guy already comes with all the basics mastered:✔️ Knows sit and shake✔️ Crate-trained and travels like a pro✔️ Dog-friendly and does well with cats✔️ And yes… he has the cutest little nub tail that perfectly matches his charmHarley isn’t wild or over-the-top — he’s steady, loving, and dependable. He’s the kind of dog who will happily ride shotgun, curl up nearby while you relax, or follow you from room to room just to be close. His greatest joy isn’t toys or treats — it’s belonging. It’s hard to understand how a dog this wonderful has been overlooked for so long, but we believe the right person just hasn’t met him yet. Harley has so much love to give and is patiently waiting for someone to finally say, “You’re home.”If you’re looking for a loyal companion, a calm best friend, and a dog who will love you with his whole heart — Harley is ready and waiting.💙 Come meet him. Let him show you just how special he is.If you are interested in adopting this pet please visit www.blackfordcountyanimalshelter.com to complete our online adoption application.

COURTESY POST This is Ginger. She is such a sweet girl. She spent the first 4 yrs of her life living in a barn as a breeder dog. Despite this she is very loving. Does great with other dogs. She likes cats but is a bit too rough with them. She was never potty trained but her foster has been working with her on that. She is fine in a kennel when her foster is gone or at night and she doesn’t mess in her kennel. She doesn’t chew and is calm in the house. She is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $350. Please send an email to jgb3008@gmail.com for an application.
