Story
Killian has been one of my best buds since I got him in 2017. He was born on February 14th and will be 9 years old this coming Valentine's Day. He was born in a shelter, and I brought him home at 8 weeks old. Killian is a best friend, a shadow, a vacuum, and a great companion. Unfortunately, Killian does not do well with other pets and would need to be the only animal in the home. He has shown aggression towards both cats and dogs. I have a small child and have never had an issue with Killian even attempting to bite my kiddo. Killian loves belly rubs, hates having his feet touched, and has a big bark for such a big baby. He will hog your bed, beg for your food, and howl when he's egged on. He weighs in at around 85lbs and is a big guy. He does have issues with allergies and his skin/ears. He's completely up to date on shots and will be due for his annual in April. He is such a great dog, but unfortunately, I have other animals in my home he doesn't get along with.

Story
Meet Toledo: A story of hope, resilience, and a whole lot of love waiting to be discovered. This sweet boy's journey started when he was surrendered to another shelter at just 17 weeks old. We welcomed him to our facility in May 2025, hoping a fresh start would help him find his forever home. Now, at 1 1/2 years old, he's still waiting, and we can't understand why.Despite his past, Toledo is an absolute sweetheart. He loves cuddles and is a total goofball, adoring our staff and volunteers, but it's not the same as having a family. He is a gem on a leash. He loves car rides and pup cups. He loves to play with toys, but hasn't mastered fetch. He truly just wants to be with people. He seems to get along with other calm and kind dogs, as always, slow introductions are best. Toledo is fully vetted, full of life, and so ready to meet his forever family. If you're looking for a loving companion, please consider Toledo. Let's help him find the home he deserves and rewrite his story.**Neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention. Weighs about 40 lbs**

Story
Hi friends! My name is Reaper and I am about 2.5 years old! I am a friendly boy that is excited to find my furever home! I'm a very curious dog so don't expect me to interact right away, I just like to take in my environment which includes smelling all the new smells. As soon as I am done checking out my surroundings I will definitely love to play! I like to play tug the most but watch your arms because I'm not very coordinated and have been known to accidently get people on the arms (no worries I let go right away) I don't have an aggressive bone in my body and don't mind if you take food or toys from me (a bad habit so don't just take things but if its something I'm not supposed to have you are safe to take it from me) I will need to work on my manners but no worries I am highly treat motivated. I'm a fun guy to take out and walk so grab a leash and learn a little more about me!Give the shelter a call at (574) 267-3008 or email them at info@awlwarsaw.com if you have any questions about me! If not, stop by the shelter at 1048 S 325 E in Pierceton, IN 46562 to look at me! No appointments necessary!

Story
Meet Kingston 🐶💙Hi there, my name is Kingston and I’m a 2-year-old Mastiff mix with a heart as big as my paws. Life hasn’t always been kind to me — I came to the shelter as a stray, and the staff found some old battle scars that tell a story of a rough past. But despite it all, I’m a gentle, sweet boy who’s learning to trust again.I'm still a young adult, and a bit shy, especially around fast movements or loud environments. I can be a little nervous at first, but once I feel safe, my true loving personality starts to shine. I’m very submissive with other dogs, so I would need slow, patient introductions to new furry friends — but I’m open to making them! The amazing staff here have been helping me come out of my shell, and every day I grow a little more confident. I’m dreaming of a calm, understanding home — whether that’s a forever family or a foster home where I can continue to heal and thrive. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion and you're willing to go at my pace, I promise I’ll be the best boy you’ve ever met.Let’s take that first step together. 🐾❤️
