Kona is very sweet. She is 8 years old. My parents moved here from California and brought her with them, but their apartment just isn't big enough for her to have room to play. Neither of my parents are healthy enough physically to walk her like she deserves. She is crate trained, and does well with other dogs. She knows basic commands, and is obedient and calm. We love Kona, and want her to have the space and happiness she deserves.

June Bug is ready to trade kennel life for a cozy couch and a family to call her own. Estimated to be around 8 years old, this sweet senior girl still has plenty of love left to give. She absolutely adores people and happily soaks up every bit of attention she can get. June Bug doesn’t seem to mind other dogs either, but a meet and greet is still required to make sure everyone is a good fit.She’s housebroke, spayed, and up to date on her vaccines, so she’s more than ready to settle right into home life. June Bug came to us as a transfer from animal control, and now she’s hoping her next stop is her forever home.Her adoption fee is a monetary donation of your choice, because what matters most is finding her the loving home she deserves. All she’s asking for is a comfy couch, some loving humans, and of course unlimited pup cups along the way. 🐾If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who’s ready to spend her golden years by your side, June Bug is your girl. 💕An adoption application can be filled out on the DHS website https://www.dekalbhumanesociety.org/adopt. Dog adoption fees are $250.00 for all puppies and adult dogs. Seniors are a donation of choice.Cats and kittens are minimum donation $50.00
