Story
Meet Puma 🐾💕 — a sweet boy with a gentle heart and a personality that takes a little time to bloom. Puma may not be the first one to rush up and introduce himself, and that’s okay! He just needs a little patience and some time to figure out that he’s safe and loved. Once he starts to feel comfortable, you’ll get to see the sweet, loving boy hiding behind that initial shyness. 🥹 Puma is the kind of boy who reminds us that the best relationships aren’t always instant. Sometimes, the most special bonds are the ones you build slowly, one little moment of trust at a time. Give him some patience, a calm environment, and plenty of kindness, and he’ll reward you with the sweetest companionship. He’s looking for someone who understands that warming up takes time and is willing to let him come out of his shell at his own pace. If you’re willing to give Puma the time he needs, he just might become your very best friend. ❤️🐾 Dogs: Must meet all pups in the home! Cats: Unknown Kids: Must meet all family members!

Story
Meet Daisy, a sweet and resilient 2-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier/Boxer mix looking for a loving forever home. I saved her after her previous owner was stationed in England, and I am now looking for a peaceful environment where she can thrive.Daisy is:• A "cuddle bug" who thrives on attention• Diagnosed with hypothyroidism (managed with daily medicine)• Learning how to play and becoming more active• Fond of chewing on bones• A resilient spirit looking for a peaceful routineDaisy has a resilient spirit despite a difficult start and past abuse. She can be skittish and is scared of loud noises or fireworks, so she would do best in a calm, quiet home with a peaceful routine. She has a wonderful new lease on life thanks to her medication and will be a most devoted companion.💰 Rehoming fee: $0

Congratulations—you have been promoted to Most Important Human in the World. ❤️Ruby is a sensitive girl who can feel overwhelmed by busy environments. She’s looking for someone patient, consistent, and willing to let her bloom at her own pace. The best things in life take time—and Ruby is absolutely worth it. 🐾Think you might be Ruby’s person? Story
Hey, hey, hey! My name is Miles, and I’m a 7-year-old Boxer mix with lots of energy and even more love to give!I’m not the biggest fan of most other animals, but that’s only because I think there’s more than enough of me to keep my family entertained! I’d be happiest soaking up all of your love and attention.I’m great with kids 12 and older. Sometimes I get the zoomies and forget just how big I am, so I could accidentally knock over smaller kiddos—even though I’d never mean to!I do pull a little on the leash, especially if I spot a squirrel, but I’m a smart, lovable guy who just gets excited about the world around me. After I’ve burned off some energy, I’m more than happy to relax, soak up attention, and earn a few treats (my favorite part of the day!).I’ve been waiting at the shelter for over a year, and I’m more than ready to find a family to call my own. If you’re looking for a goofy, affectionate best friend, please come meet me! I can’t wait to finally go home. ❤️

Story
Hi friends! My name is Reaper and I am about 3 years old! I am a friendly boy that is excited to find my furever home! I'm a very curious dog so don't expect me to interact right away, I just like to take in my environment which includes smelling all the new smells. As soon as I am done checking out my surroundings I will definitely love to play! I like to play tug the most but watch your arms because I'm not very coordinated and have been known to accidently get mouthy with people's arms (no worries I let go right away)! I don't have an aggressive bone in my body and don't mind if you take food or toys from me (a bad habit so don't just take things but if its something I'm not supposed to have, you are safe to take it from me). I will need to work on my manners but no worries I am highly treat motivated. I'm a fun guy to take out and walk so grab a leash and learn a little more about me! I do well with other dogs as long as they can keep up with my energy and play style! Just like with tug of war, I can play pretty rough with other dogs too, so they gotta keep up with me! Unfortunately, I do not do well with cats, so I will need a cat free home.Give the shelter a call at (574) 267-3008 or email them at info@awlwarsaw.com if you have any questions about me! If not, stop by the shelter at 1048 S 325 E in Pierceton, IN 46562 to look at me! No appointments necessary!
