Hi, I’m Casper 👻 I can be a little shy at first, but I warm up with a bit of time and patience. I’m still getting used to everything here, so we’re learning more about my personality each day—but I’m already showing I’ve got a sweet side. I’d love a home that will let me settle in at my own pace and help me come out of my shell. Come meet me and see if we’re a good match

Story
Hi there, I’m Pansy! I might be a little shy when we first meet, but give me a little time and you’ll see the real me—a sweet, loving girl with so much joy to share. Once I feel comfortable, I can’t help but show my happiness with kisses and adorable little spins that make everyone smile. I’m gentle and kind, and I don’t mind being around other dogs, though I’m just as happy soaking up love from my humans. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will blossom with patience and care, I’m ready to twirl my way right into your heart. *I'm eligible for foster, if you'd like to give me a cozy home while I wait! *I’ve been waiting for my forever home for over 100 days, which makes me a Featured Pet! That means my adoption fee is completely waived—all I need now is the right family to take me home. I'm also eligible for foster, if you'd like to give me a cozy home while I wait!

Story
Lola is a sweet lovable 8yr old boxer/shepherd mix. She has anxiety around other dogs and she has gotten aggressive with them. She was a high energy dog in her younger years and would jump over our fence. She still loves chasing squirrels, chipmunks and cats if they mistakenly get in our backyard. Lola has been minimally trained to heel, sit and stay. She will come to you when you motivate her with a treat. My husband and I have maintained her annual appointments with a local vet. We would love to find a home where she is the only pet and can be loved unconditionally. We are taking care of grandchildren now and it is extremely difficult to manage her and the grandchildren. Thank you

Story
Meet Lola! Lola has been with us for quite a while, and honestly, we’re not sure why—because she is such a wonderful dog. This sweet girl makes an excellent companion and is more independent by nature, but she still loves coming over for snuggles. Lola is the kind of dog who can entertain herself but likes knowing you’re nearby, watching and cheering her on. Her two favorite things in the world are: 1) tennis balls and 2) cuddling with her favorite people in her room. At around 6 years old, Lola is well past the crazy puppy stage and has settled into being an all-around great dog. She’s goofy, playful, and so fun to watch. Her silly personality is sure to keep you smiling. Lola is food motivated, but if given the choice, toys win every time! She especially loves tennis balls and could happily play for hours. She can be a bit strong on leash because there is just so much for her to see and explore. Since she doesn’t get out as much as she’d like, she tends to get very eager on walks. With structure, consistency, and regular outings, we think she will continue to improve and thrive. Lola is a volunteer favorite for good reason. She is potty trained and does great relaxing calmly in her room until it’s time to head outside. We love Lola dearly, but after spending over two years waiting, it’s time for her to find the forever family she deserves. Could that be you? *Adopters must live in Central Indiana, no more than 45 min from downtown Indy *Please visit website for how to adopt: https://sketchymuttsandunderdogs.org/adopt *Please note that we do not operate on a first come first served basis.

Story
Meet Robert! Robert is a goofy, playful boy with plenty of spunk and heart. He may have just three legs, but don’t tell him that — it doesn’t slow him down one bit! He loves to zoom around, play with his dog friends, and show off his favorite game of keep-away with his stuffies. Robert lost his leg due to a chemical burn and has some permanent scarring, including a few marks on his face. But those scars only add to his unique charm and story of resilience. He’s been coming out of his shell more every day, showing off his silly, affectionate side. Whether it’s cuddling on the couch or heading out for a walk, Robert is always ready to be by your side. He’s the perfect mix of adventurous and loving — and he’s ready to find a family who’ll love him for the incredible dog he is. *Adopters must live in Central Indiana, no more than 45 min from downtown Indy *Please visit website for how to adopt: https://sketchymuttsandunderdogs.org/adopt *Please note that we do not operate on a first come first served basis

Story
Uma was rescued when she was around 2 years old. She has been such an amazing dog and helped me emotionally when I was younger. Uma is now 8 or 9 years old. She is still full of energy and needs a home that has the time and space to play with her. She does best in a fenced in yard and as a solo dog. She also is a huge cuddler! She loves to get cozy on top of a blanket and cuddle up right next to you. That makes her a great companion. Uma is also good with kids and others. She can be sneaky with trying to get table food, but doesn’t cause much trouble beyond that. She can be good with other dogs, but needs to be slowly integrated with someone who has experience with this. She’s not going to be a dog park dog. She has gotten along with an elder dog and puppies she lived with. Uma is a great dog, and we only are rehoming because we do not have the capacity to train her more and give her the attention she needs. Happy to chat more for those interested in her companionship!
