Moose was adopted from Home Sweet Home Foster in Illinois about 8 years ago and is estimated to be 9+ years old. He is a happy, affectionate “velcro” dog who loves being around his people. Moose enjoys pets, car rides, and playing fetch, and still has a fun, bouncy personality. He is house trained, knows basic commands, and thrives in a structured routine. Moose has shown resource guarding behaviors, especially with toys or treats, and can be reactive in certain situations with unfamiliar men due to anxiety. While no injury has occurred, there have been attempted bites, and this should be taken seriously. He would do best in an adult-only home or with older children (10+), with an experienced owner who can provide structure and clear boundaries. Moose is a loyal, loving dog who wants to feel safe and close to his people, and he deserves the right home where he can succeed.
