Jax is a sweet boy. He has the cutest face and makes cute little sounds. He is coming out of his shell and would love to be in a family where he can play and get all the love and pets he desires. He likes to play with toys and I'm sure in time, he'd be a great "fetch" partner. He has done fine around cats, but if they (like mine) repeatedly bat at him or try to rub all over him he gets curious. I think he would fit into any life style!

Story
Lola is a sweet lovable 8yr old boxer/shepherd mix. She has anxiety around other dogs and she has gotten aggressive with them. She was a high energy dog in her younger years and would jump over our fence. She still loves chasing squirrels, chipmunks and cats if they mistakenly get in our backyard. Lola has been minimally trained to heel, sit and stay. She will come to you when you motivate her with a treat. My husband and I have maintained her annual appointments with a local vet. We would love to find a home where she is the only pet and can be loved unconditionally. We are taking care of grandchildren now and it is extremely difficult to manage her and the grandchildren. Thank you

Cash is ready to cash in on a fresh start. While the shelter has been a big adjustment, staff have already discovered that underneath his uncertainty is a dog who genuinely enjoys people, toys, and having fun. He is treat-motivated, loves squeaky toys, and once he feels comfortable, he is happy to come over for attention and affection. Cash is the kind of dog who lets you earn his trust, and when you do, you get to see a much softer, more playful side emerge. Like many dogs, Cash can be a little overwhelmed when first meeting new situations, but staff have seen him settle quickly once he realizes he is safe. During his evaluation, he happily accepted pets, showed off his playful personality, and especially enjoyed carrying around a squeaky toy. In fact, having a toy in his possession seemed to help him relax and enjoy spending time with his human friends. Cash is looking for someone who will appreciate both his thoughtful side and his playful side. Give him a little patience, a few treats, and maybe a squeaky toy or two, and you may discover that striking it rich has nothing to do with money and everything to do with finding the right dog.
