Rita loves toys, especially tennis balls and would love her own toy box in her own home. She gets along very well with other dogs and likes kids. Unknown with cats. She will be a great addition to any loving family. Rita is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and has been given a Pro heart injection. Adopt fee $50. Rocco was surrendered to us as a baby at 6 months old. He is your typical puppy with energy for days, a loving personality, and a spark for any adventure. He would make your life so much more fun! Rocco is good with just about anything except cats. He is quite young, though, so that may change. We sent Rocco to be fully vetted and make him more appealing to an adopter. Kingsley first came to us in January. His family was expecting a new baby and, unfortunately, felt they no longer had the time he deserved. He was sent to Vet Tech to get fully vetted, but he was a little too much for the students to handle and was returned to us rather quickly. Then came April — and finally, Kingsley got his chance. He was adopted! Sadly, through absolutely no fault of his own, Kingsley is back with us. And the hardest part? He was also boarded for a period of time after his adoption due to circumstances beyond his control. So when we really think about it, this poor boy has barely had a real home for almost an entire year. Nearly a whole year without his own couch. Nearly a whole year without his own family. Nearly a whole year without a place to truly belong. We don’t call the shelter an animal’s “forever home” — because that’s not what we want for them. But while they’re here, we do our very best to make them feel safe, loved and cared for. Still, Kingsley deserves so much more than a kennel. At only 2 years old and 70 pounds, this big brindle Shepherd/Lab mix has so much life left to live. He’s fully vetted, housebroken, and said to do well with other dogs. A few things to know about Kingsley: -Fully-vetted -Good with dogs -NOT good with cats -Best with older kids — he’s a big, playful guy and can be a little rough when he gets excited Housebroken -2 years old -70 pounds of lovable, energetic boy Kingsley has already had one adoption fall through. He shouldn’t have to spend his second shelter stay wondering when someone will finally choose him. He needs another chance. Give Kingsley the opportunity to show you what a good boy he can be. I got him when he was a puppy. He is full blooded American Bulldog. He was born on November 19, 2022. He is all up to date on his shots. He really just needs to be with a single person who will take the time with him. He is very protective over me and my children. When we have family or friends over he has to be put up. I have taken him to basic training classes. He is a very great dog just has protective issues. I’m sure if someone takes the time he can be broken from that. If adopted he comes with a kennel, food container, food bowls and stand, toys, collar, leash, a dog bed.
