Story
Shaggy was pulled out of a miserable situation. He lived in a home that was covered in filth. He and the other animals in the home were stuck inside all the time and were given little to eat. Shelter staff had noticed a couple of the animals had been eating their own feces for a "meal". Shaggy very likely grew up in this environment. Because of this, he will need extra training regarding his potty training and eating habits. He currently scarfs down every piece of kibble he is given. While we have not seen any food aggression, this sort of situation can cause it to occur. Feeding him separately in a crate or using a slow feeder is encouraged.🐾 ADOPTION INFORMATION 🐾Thinking about adding a new furry family member? Story
My name is Meko. I am 4 years old. I was found in an abandoned home. I rescued Meko almost 3.5 years ago. He was just a puppy when I found him. He is an extremely lovable cute boy who loves to cuddles under the covers. He loves attention and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He needs someone who can give him attention and cuddles. My daughter is autistic and very aggressive towards animals. Therefore we have to keep the separate right now and I can not give him any attention due to my children and them needing more attention than he does. This boy is so extremely sweet and just wants love.He does have a stage three heart murmur and his fur is barely there. I’m not sure if he has some sort of genetic condition.
