Despite her challenging past, she has shown incredible strength and resilience, making her an inspiring pup with so much love to give. Marge is an incredibly sweet and gentle soul. Marge gets along well with other dogs and loves to play and wrestle with all her foster siblings. She even does well with children! She will require a physically fenced in yard. Hello, my name is Savvy! I am a very cuddly and playful 3-year-old 85-pound American Bulldog mix. I have one of the friendliest temperaments you will ever encounter and I’m fully house, crate and leash trained. I am very good with other animals (dogs and cats!)…. But chasing squirrels is so fun I can’t help myself!!! I also like to toss toys in the air and catch them. What am I looking for in a forever home?  In my new furever home, I will need a lot of snuggles but also room to play. A fenced in backyard would be perfect for my squirrel chasing and toy tossing. Meet Merlot.  This sweet girl is a 3yr old bulldog mix whose journey has had some bumps along the way.  She was helped out by a local police department and made her way to her foster home, after having been found on the streets while very pregnant.  Merlot soon gave birth to 11, yes 11, puppies known as the Wine Flight Litter.   After having been a devoted momma to all her babies, this loving gal is ready to be pampered herself.    She is a laid back girl who doesn’t mind her foster family and their shenanigans in dressing her up in cute clothes.  She’s crate and potty trained, good on leash, loves to go for car rides and a big fan of being spoiled with treats and yummy wet food.  If you are ready for a loving and deserving gal to join your family, please apply for her today. Meet Thor! Thor is a 3 year-old Bulldog/pit mix who loves adventure! He want to be going somewhere and doing something with his people! He is very smart and pays close attention to his surrounding. He would thrive in a home that wants to teach him new tricks and take him new places! He is still learning to stay calm when he sees something that excites him, and will need continued training for this. Thor is a very friendly, playful pup, but does seem to prefer female pups. We always recommend a meet n greet with your current dog to ensure that they are a good match! He may be too energetic for small children, so he should be in a home with older children only. He has been around cats and doesn't seem to be bothered by them. He does love to cuddle and loves affection. He also loves going on walks and playing ball and does very well in the car. He can be easily distracted though, and will often bark at people or animals when he's looking out the window. Thor is working on crate training, which is a slow introduction to being in the crate when his people are home, leaving the door open with things that he loves inside, so that he sees the crate is a good safe place for him. He is potty trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside. He is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. Exercise is important for Thor, as he loves to be doing something, with both his mind and body! He has a moderate to high activity level, so he needs 1-3 hours of moderate activity, like walking or playing ball, or 1-2 hours of high activity, like jogging, running and learning. Thor needs a fenced yard where he can run and play safely. I'll let you in on a little secret. Despite what my name might imply, I actually am a little afraid of ghosts. I don't like to believe in supernatural beings, but I know that they are probably out there. I like to stay near my humans to know that I will always be protected, safe and loved. But there's only one problem with that- I don't have humans to call my own right now. I've been part of a family before, so I know the drill. I know where to potty, I know all the good manners and I even know some fun tricks like shake! I think I make a pretty great best friend. Other animals of my kind (doggos) are fine with me as long as they like to kick back and relax more than play. Cats are a kind "no thank you", we just don't get along.
