He had become protective of his home and his family. As hard as the decision was to be made, his previous owners decided to find him a new home. A home where he doesn't feel the need to protect - and can live his happy, worry-free life. His family loved him dearly, so a new home that can also continue to spoil this boy rotten shall definitely be in store as well!!Dexter has been used to going to doggie daycare with his previous family. His family says he loves to go to doggie daycare, and truly thrives. He does well around other dogs at daycare, and he also lived with another dog whom he also got along well with. Dexter can be hesitant around new people, and will typically bark - especially in new or unfamiliar environments. He takes a brief moment to warm up to new faces, but once he knows you... he is a real sweet, gentle boy! Dexter would love to have a home where he can continue to be active, burning off his energy. Becca likes to go for walks but doesn’t have a crazy amount of energy. She is happy to be with her people and just chill. When her foster family isn’t home Becca is free to roam, she has good house manners. Becca does well with other dogs her size. Small dogs and cats scare her. Becca came into rescue from our local shelter which is full. She was found as a stray tied to a tree. Becca is house trained, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and microchipped. This handsome bridle boy is happiest when he's running and playing fetch.  Atlas is well trained and knows how to sit, shake, stay, lay down, wait, come, leave it and get up. Atlas is also muzzle trained, he prefers to wear this when meeting strangers or doing scary things like visiting the vet's office.  Atlas would thrive in an active home with adults only who are dog savvy and maintain a relatively quiet home life. We don't know all of his background, but we know that strangers in the home are scary to Atlas and he isn't sure if he's supposed to protect you from them or not!  Atlas loves to play, so another playful dog in the home would make for a perfect match! Atlas is kennel and potty trained, and also loves to give kisses. A 4-6 foot high fenced in yard would be a dream come true for ol' Atlas, here he could run and play to his hearts content and maybe learn some more impressive commands with a little help from his new family.
