While he’s a medium-sized dog, Chewy is convinced he’s a lap dog and loves nothing more than being close to his people! Chewy is the definition of a Velcro dog. He’ll happily follow you from room to room and is happiest when spending time with his family. Despite his love of companionship, he is well-mannered when left home alone and has never been destructive. He is fully housebroken and enjoys car rides, making him a great companion for adventures. Chewy loves toys of all kinds and is often seen proudly carrying one around in his mouth. He enjoys games of tug and fetch—when he decides to give the toy back! Unlike many dogs, Chewy is gentle with his toys and rarely chews them up, so they tend to last a long time. He gets along well with other dogs and the children he has met.
