Coco is a heartwarming testament to resilience and recovery. As a boxer-bulldog mix, she carries the distinctive traits of both breeds—a muscular build, broad chest, and a face that’s impossible not to love. Rescued from a harrowing situation of abuse, Coco's journey is one of triumph over adversity. When she first arrived at the rescue, the signs of her past were evident, both in her physical condition and her wary demeanor. However, thanks to the unyielding care and affection she's received, Coco has undergone an incredible transformation. Now, Coco is a beacon of joy and strength. She has impressively gained weight, her coat gleaming with health and her eyes sparkling with newfound confidence. Her blend of boxer and bulldog heritage gives her a unique appearance—she possesses the strength and alertness of a boxer along with the loyalty and courage of a bulldog. Coco’s recovery journey showcases not just her fighting spirit but also the boundless love and rehabilitation animals are capable of with support. Despite her challenging start in life, Coco's spirit remains unbroken. She approaches each day with an infectious enthusiasm and a tail that wags with hope. Coco is not just surviving; she is thriving, eagerly awaiting the day she finds her forever home where she can share all the love and loyalty she has to offer. Her story is a powerful reminder of the resilience inherent in animals and the transformative impact of compassionate care. Story
We have a special boy to introduce to the families and couples out there wanting a truly special older pup that is totally trained and waiting to love you to pieces. True Blue Toby is a 10 month old Boxer mix puppy that was found as a stray and not in the best shape.  In fact he looked terrible and we felt so bad for this boy to have suffered for so many months.  Once he came to our care we got to work on clearing up hair loss and getting him healthy from those pesky intestinal worms and putting good weight on him.  Gosh Toby is the best boy with a wonderful personality that embraces everyone with love and the anticipation to become steadfast friends.  Shy at first, this boy has blossomed and is Mr. Outgoing in every way.  He just wants to hang out with his humans and love them with full gratitude for making him such a healthy boy.  Housebroken, crate trained and wonderful with other dogs and cats, he is the truly total package if you are looking for a medium sized dog.  He is going to be a 50 pound adult and what a handsome Boxer mix boy he is turning in to.   Email us at Critter Cavalry Rescue :   ccrnewengland@gmail.com   We know will be glad you considered this boy as your very own. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 26, 2024, 11:20 pm

Story
Bama was a "giveaway" pup from a Walmart parking lot. When people hand out puppies like lollipops, they often end up in bad situations. It's an impulsive thing to take a cute little puppy but as soon as they realize how much work they are, they are disposed of in many different ways. Bama got lucky, she came to us through a friend of the rescue. The people who took her from the parking lot soon realized that she was more than they could handle. They wanted a cute little puppy but not prepared to deal with normal puppy behavior. Anyway, Bama is a little extra special. You see, we took her to the spay/neuter clinic only to find out when we returned to pick her up, that she is a Hermaphrodite. Once they opened her up, they found a testicle and just one ovary. The surgery went fine, she is fully recovered and will have no health ramifications from it. She is as sweet and playful as she can be. We are guessing she is a Boxer mix with maybe a little hound and few other things mixed in! She is crate trained and almost house broken. She uses the pee pads all the time when she is in the house. She's great with kids and as you can see by the video, vey playful with cats. She will be ready for transport beginning of April PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUT PETS RPIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE $650

Story
Daisy is a great dog, I adopted her a little over a year ago. Unfortunately my work schedule has me away longer than I feel is best for her. She’s very cuddle, doesn’t bark, well tempered and overall happy. She was puppy pad trained so if she is left home For long periods of time she will have accidents, but will generally use the pads. I have not attempted to crate train her. It’s hard for us to make this decision but we want what’s best for her.
