Story
Meet Reuben!Looking for a big ol' sweetheart with a whole lot of love to give? This handsome Boxer mix may be 12 years old, but he's still got plenty of personality! He's a big boy with an adorable face, a gentle nature, and a serious appreciation for snacks. If there's a treat involved, you can bet he's ready to be your best friend! ❤️At 12 years young, Reuben is definitely ready to enjoy the slower side of life. He'd love a home where he can take his time, enjoy leisurely strolls, cozy naps on the couch, tasty treats, and plenty of affection without being expected to keep up with a younger, high-energy dog. Like any senior pet, his adopters should be prepared for the possibility of age-related health concerns and understand that his time with them may be shorter than it would be with a younger dog-but the love and companionship a senior gives you can be incredibly special, and Reuben has so much love to give!Because of his size, age, and overall needs, he would do best in a home without children. He's looking for someone who will appreciate him for exactly who he is: a big, sweet, food-motivated old guy who deserves to spend his golden years feeling safe, comfortable, and loved. 🥰Could you be the person who gives this handsome senior the soft landing he deserves? Come meet him and let him charm you with those Boxer-mix good looks! The NHSPCA Adoption Center is located at 104 Portsmouth Ave, Stratham, NH. Adoption hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 AM-4:00 PM, with extended hours Thursdays until 7:00 PM. We are closed Wednesdays. Story
Meet Ruby & Indigo – the sweetest little survivors looking for their forever home Ruby & Indigo are a stunning pair of brindle Boxer mix puppies who were saved just minutes before euthanasia at a shelter in Tennessee. Their story could have ended far too soon, but these two resilient babies are proof that hope can bloom in the last moments. At approximately 3 months old and around 6 lbs each, Indigo and Ruby are everything you’d want in growing pups: bright‑eyed, affectionate, playful, and endlessly charming. Ruby is a gentle, sweet girl with a soft spirit, while Indigo is a beautiful boy with a curious, loving nature. They adore people, love to snuggle, and are quickly learning that the world can be a safe and happy place. Both pups have received their age‑appropriate puppy vaccinations. They will need to be spayed/neutered when they reach the appropriate age. Indigo and Ruby are currently located in Tennessee, and transport is available to your area. If you’re ready to give one—or both—of these incredible pups the life they deserve, please reach out to Julie: 📞 919‑624‑0059 📧 julie@arcadiarescue.org These two have already beaten the odds. Now they just need someone to love them for the rest of their lives.

Story
Meet Maria — the little survivor with the biggest heart Maria arrived at a Tennessee shelter painfully underweight and malnourished, but even then, her gentle spirit never dimmed. At just 2 years old and only 30 lbs, she had already endured far more than any dog should. Today, thanks to loving foster care, Maria is blossoming. She’s gaining weight, feeling safe, and showing everyone what a happy, affectionate girl she truly is. Her tail wags nonstop, her eyes sparkle, and she’s discovering all the joys she missed out on — soft beds, full meals, toys, and people who adore her. Maria is fully vaccinated, spayed, and ready for her next chapter with a family who will cherish her. She’s a champion cuddler, a devoted TV‑watching buddy, and a playful toy enthusiast. Her sweet, calm nature makes her easy to love, and she’s eager to share her gratitude with every snuggle. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a resilient spirit and a heart full of love, Maria is your girl. For more information or to meet Maria, please contact Julie at 919 624 0059 or julie@arcadiarescue.org.
