Story
Carol and Candy are sweet sisters who were brought to the shelter by a kind citizen in Forrest City, AR. You’d never know that these girls have had a rough start. They have blossomed in the short time they have been at their foster home. With a little love, affection, and patience these girls have begun to trust humans. They play very well with their foster brothers and sisters—all 7 of them! They are a great combo of playful and chill. They love to hang outside all day while their foster mom gardens. Carol loves the water and spends a lot of time in the baby pool splashing around. Both girls are playful and love to explore. They are learning their manners and love to be held. When you pick them up they lay their heads on your shoulder and just soak up the affection. They came to the shelter very underweight, so we are working on fattening them up a bit, which shouldn’t take long! Otherwise, they are healthy, happy girls learning what it means to have a good life full of attention and love. They deserve the very best! Would make a great addition to any family. Once adopted they will travel via private transport (transport cost is $150.00) to a location closest to you. Story
Toby is a 17-month-old Boxer mix, weighing about 55 pounds. He is a goofy boy who loves to play with the other dogs in the house. He is currently in a foster home with bunnies, chickens, and a cat - he is not a good friend to any of them. Toby is house and crate trained and sleeps through the night. He has a great time in the water and rides well in the car. While this boy is lovable and squishy, he can be unpredictable around small children and would do best in a home with older kids. Toby can be a great family member and with some training will be an amazing companion. Adoption fee is $450 If you do not hear from us within 7 days please email passion4petsrescue@gmail.com

Story
Meet old man Shadow! This spunky, loving, laid back foodie is looking for a retirement home. His only requirement is he would rather not share his home with cats, but kids and most other dogs are good in his book (He does better with female dogs)! This boy loves his snacks and will give you the BIGGEST puppy dog eyes to get you to cave. He knows "Sit" "Paw" and "Down". When he knows you have a snack if you don't notice his puppy dog eyes he will throw his paw at you as if to say "Hey look, I'm being a good boy, I deserve a snack!" Shadow has been put on Dasuquin, an over the counter medication, to help with his arthritis in his back legs and he thinks it's the best snack around! Although he is on the calmer side, he still loves to get up and run around for short moments of time. He may be old but he still thinks he's a young whipper snapper. If your interested in meeting this goofy man stop on by and ask to see him!

Story
ATTENTION BOXER LOVERS!!  Meet Benjamin (Benny).  This fabulous almost 2 year old boxer now weighs 50 lbs.  When he came to Critter Cavalry he only weighed 34 lbs.  Someone had not been feeding him.  Benny still needs to gain a few lbs but he already looks so much better.  Good food has definitely helped.  Benny is 100% young boxer.  He is full of energy and loves to play.  Benny loves people and does not meet a stranger.  He is great with children too but small children might be too much for Benny as he might knock them over.  Benny forgets that he is a big boy.  He is also strong and digs those back legs in (typical boxer) when he walks on a leash.  His foster mom is working on that and Benny is getting better at not pulling.  He loves his foster brother Tigs (another big boy) but does sometimes get over stimulated in a pack environment.  He is probably not the best candidate for the dog park or doggie day care.  Benny needs an active family that will make sure he gets the exercise he needs.  A fenced in yard is also a must for this boy.  Benny needs to burn off his energy more than one a day.  He is a smart boy and catches on quickly.  Benny is housebroken and OK in a crate.  He is a counter surfer so no food needs to be left out not only on the counter but on the table.  Another reason for no small children.  Benny doesn't need to eat their lunch or snacks!!!  Benny has been neutered and is current on all his shots and microchipped.  To be considered for his forever family please contact Vivienne directly at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Benny is actually in Tennessee but can be transported north upon adoption.)June 7, 2023, 11:54 pm
