Boxer Best Benny was relinquished by no fault of his own. This is a nice boy who is good with other dogs & with people. He is very sweet but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. His birth date is 12/02/25 and he currently weighs 16.8#.He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. His adoption donation is $600 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. Please note that any additional funding collected for this pet goes back into our medical acct. to provide for other dogs in need. Story
We got Paul as puppy in 2018. He is our first dog. He loves to play and cuddle. He loves other dogs. He has a little bit of anxiety when there is thunder or loud noises. With the birth of our son in 2025 he hovered the whole time. He cries when the baby cries. But now that our son is walking, Paul has shown slight aggression towards our infant. But with older children he is just fine. We are expecting another child in July and we had to make the decision for protection of our children that Paul needs a new home. It breaks my heart, but it is what is best for all involved.

Pugilism Preston came to us from a kill shelter in Indiana where he ended up by no fault of his own. This is a nice, friendly boy who is good with people & other dogs. He is very sweet & happy but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. His approx. birth date is 12/12/24 and he currently weighs 65#. We would like to see him closer to 75# & are feeding towards that target weight.  This is a sweet boy who will make a wonderful companion! Update - he sent home but could not be trusted with the family cat. He is house trained. He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. He is also heart worm & tick born illness negative. His adoption donation is $500 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. Kala is a sweet dog that unfortunately while waiting for her forever home with us, was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor that metastasized and spread. Kala is now out of the shelter and is in hospice care, in a loving environment with one of our volunteers. Kala will spend the rest of her time being very spoiled and loved. Hi, I’m Lola! I’m a sweet, goofy girl. I can take a bit to warm up to someone new, but once I do, I will greet you with a piggy snort. I would love a home with no cats, dogs, or small children. A home with a yard would be fun as well! I love to run around and play. I would benefit from attending a class or private session from one of our recommended trainers, such as A Canine Story, to continue setting me up for success.
