Button, our 1-year-old boxer mix, is jumping for joy in anticipation of his forever home! We joke that he is part kangaroo, but outside his kennel he’s the calmest little guy there is. He has such a gentle spirit, and that shines through when he takes treats. His favorite place to be is next to someone — truly the definition of man’s best friend. He enjoys walks and has the drive to learn more commands! He also lets us humans squish his face, but how could you not? After all, he is as cute as a button!

We got Paul as puppy in 2018. He is our first dog. He loves to play and cuddle. He loves other dogs. He has a little bit of anxiety when there is thunder or loud noises. With the birth of our son in 2025 he hovered the whole time. He cries when the baby cries. But now that our son is walking, Paul has shown slight aggression towards our infant. But with older children he is just fine. We are expecting another child in July and we had to make the decision for protection of our children that Paul needs a new home. It breaks my heart, but it is what is best for all involved.

Just one look at this guy and you can't help but wonder why he was given the name Chicken? We do not have a clue. He is a senior guy looking for a home to spend out the later years of his life with all the comforts that a loving home will provide. Chicken still has a good amount of energy, but at the end of the day, he would simply prefer to curl up in your favorite chair, if you will let him, or a plush dog bed. He would do best with older children and a quieter lifestyle since that is what he had in his prior home. Come meet this guy and check out his big soulful eyes. Hi, I’m Lola! I’m a sweet, goofy girl. I can take a bit to warm up to someone new, but once I do, I will greet you with a piggy snort. I would love a home with no cats, dogs, or small children.
