This handsome boy has the perfect combination of playful Boxer energy and lovable Beagle charm. Waldo is housebroken, loves being around people, and does wonderfully with other dogs and kids! He would make a fantastic family companion and is always ready for some fun, playtime, or a good cuddle session. We haven't had the opportunity to see how Waldo feels about cats yet, so his compatibility with feline friends is currently unknown. You've not seen true happiness until you've met 🧡🤍Gary🤍🧡 MHS followers, let us tell you...he is 43 pounds of sunshine, butterflies, rainbows, and joy. The only thing that could dull his spirit is not finding his family. He is true cheerfulness and delight🥹 Endless wiggles, nonstop smiles and the most endearing personality are all different aspects that comprise Gary. He's a food-motivated pup and is sure willing to work for treatos! We are teaching Gary how to sit and he is totally catching on already! One of the many awesome things about Gary is his eagerness to please. This guy would work for love alone🤎🤎 We have yet to meet anyone that Gary doesn't get along with. He has shown very positive behavior around shelter dogs and he adores people. Dilbert was brought to us as a stray in mid-September. He was severely underweight, had open wounds and raw pressure sores. (See his "Before" pictures in the comments.) Even through feeling miserable, Dilbert loved us and those around him. However, he was still in desperate need of our help❤️‍🩹 Luckily, our vet team is amazing and we had one of our wonderful foster homes willing to help him. Here is "All About Dilbert" from his foster mom: "Dilbert has had a pretty rough start. It’s been so nice to see him slowly add weight back on and start to feel like a playful, happy dog should! Over the weeks we’ve worked on a few manners and he is very treat-motivated so he’s been catching on pretty quickly. Dilbert knows how to sit, shake, wait, take nicely, get down/off (he’s kinda nosey with kitchen counters as his sniffer gets working), and we’ve been working on here/come, stay, and leave it. He’s very smart and very willing to learn. Dilbert loves all kinds of treats and will do just about any trick to get one! Dilbert has been slow to come out of his shell and he is somewhat nervous meeting new people. Anyone interested in adopting this handsome guy should be willing to offer him patience. After all, he has been through a lot. It may take more than one meeting for him to warm up. But once he does, he’s goes all in! Dilbert loves to be near you, on you, right up next to you, and will regularly take your favorite spot on the couch or steal your pillow. He’s learning that toys are fun—rope toys and thinner crinkle/squeaky toys are his favorites so far. Dilbert also has an ornery side. He’s head-strong and relatively funny when he doesn’t want to do what you want him to do. He’s goofy, bouncy, and an incredibly fast runner. He has gotten along well with our resident cat and has done well with other friendly dogs. Dilbert has a heart of gold, pushes every inch of personal space boundary you may have, and will make you laugh even as he’s chewed apart your 5th phone charging cord. Jumping Jimmy came to us by no fault of his own after finding himself homeless at an Indiana shelter. This is a nice, friendly boy who is good with people & other dogs. He is very sweet, happy but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. His approx. birth date is 05/05/26 and he currently weighs 12#. He is like a mini boxer & will be a medium sized dog we believe. He is a volunteer favorite and lots of fun! He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. His adoption donation is $350 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card.
