Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Breeder release - puppy mill mamaHi all! My name is Cinder sometimes CinderBinder! I'm learning all kinds of new stuff. Like did you know there is something called a dog bed! It's just for dogs. Blew my mind away....I'm learning that's it's a nice place to lay on. And also leashes! They keep me safe when out walking. I love going on walks & will walk nicely by your side. I sleep in a kennel. It makes me feel nice & safe. This whole having to 'think' about going potty is weird to me. When I have to go I go..... I do get brought to the same spot outside & will nicely go potty. I don't like to go 1 & 2 during the same trip though. It takes me 2 trips out. A girl needs to have her standards & the opportunity to do some more sniffing! I also have learned how to beg! Did you know that when you stare(politly) at someone who is eating they will give you some. Another mind blowing revaluation. Being touched/pet is still uncomfortable to me but I'm slowly getting comfortable with it. PS-Don't tell my humans that sometimes it feels so.....good! I would also like to have another dog in my forever home. I like to play & use my front paws. You do know I'm a Boxer right. I have met some kitties, they seem nice to me.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 19, 2024, 9:11 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Fostered in NebraskaMyk loves his people which include small children. He loves to play on the rough side with the resident dog which includes some play biting on legs so he would do best with another dog that can handle the play. He would also do great as a solo dog. Myk sits nicely and is very food motivated to learn new things. He is house broken and loves his kennel. Myk does like hearing himself talk so if he outside alone he does bark. Myk is also protective of his home. Any new visitor need a slow intro but he warms up quickly. Myk loves walks and is an active dog for his age. Zoomies are a regular part of his day. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 19, 2024, 9:11 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Needs a doggie companionMiss Diva, I have had her just over a week. We have had some potty setbacks but are getting back on track. She had to learn to potty on a leash, as I do not have a fenced yard. She is not a fan of thunderstorms. This set us back at night, so she has been sleeping in her canvas kennel and seems to enjoy the security of it. She has not been kenned during the day when I work at the office unless we know it will be longer than 8 hours. She is still very scared, timid and anxious. But if you approach her slow and with a calm voice, she will let you love on her. If leashed outside, she doesn't want you to touch or look at her. Loud noise scares her. She loves to snuggle on the couch with my puppy and will let you touch/pet her. Diva would do best with another resident dog to be buddies with and help her become a wonderful family member.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 19, 2024, 9:11 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bonded brother to Bubba CoalBoots is a big tall boy but very thin. He knows commands of sit, stay, come, and no  Boots copies the majority of brother Bubba actions and seems to follow Bubba and his behaviors. Boots does not tell foster mom when he needs to go outside but when outside  he is all business to do his business. No accidents in the house.   Boots and foster mom are working on leash walking and how to stay with foster mom on the left side and follows moms pace. Boots is more concerned with surroundings and loses focus. Boots does not get the what the deal is with dog toys and has no interest.  Boots sleeps on a dog bed  next to foster mom with brother Bubba. . He goes outside at 11:00 then to bed and decides he better get up at 8:30.  Boots is always near by and helpful  in cooking, cleaning, laundry and other household chores. He enjoys hugs and kisses and seems content and satisfied to lay and sleep on the couch while foster mom  watches  morning  TV shows. Boots  leaves all household stuff alone. Boots and brother Bubba will play, run and growl at each other to release energy in the fenced yard. Foster mom has not seen behaviors of flight and will come when called.  Boots is  great company and a true companion. He is accepting of the kennel and walks in without a push.  The  only negative behavior is he is not accepting of cats and does not enjoy their company.  Hopefully with time he will come to accept cats and not feel the need to terrorize and chase.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 19, 2024, 9:11 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bonded to TankDuke is 11 years young and came into rescue with his 9 year old brother Tank. These boys are bonded and would like to stay together. Duke prefers to stay out of the cold and snuggled into a nice warm bed. He is outgoing and somewhat rambunctious for his age. He is very bonded to his brother Tank and cries when he cannot find him. Both Duke and Tank are well mannered in the house and could be left out to roam as long as all food is out of sight.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 19, 2024, 9:11 pm
