Rufus: Male, boxer mix, 2 years old Come meet our adoptable dogs Thursday 4-7pm, Friday 4-7pm and Saturday 11-3pm at 114 Londonderry Turnpike in Hooksett NH. Please submit an application prior to Open House if you hope to adopt on Saturday. Appointments are also made for the dogs throughout the week. You can also check us our on our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/motleymuttsrescue where we post new dogs available for adoption several times a month. You can also follow us on Instagram at MotleyMuttsRescue. All Motley Mutts Rescue's puppies are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, up to date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. All adult dogs are also tested for heartworm prior to transport that are older than 6 months. All puppies and adult dogs will have seen a NH vet for a health certificate within 14 days of adoption. Unless otherwise noted adoption fees range from $575 on adults and $650 on puppies and adults. Adoption fees reflect the costs we incur on vetting and transporting the dogs. All Motley Mutts are in NH for you to meet to see if there's a connection prior to adoption.

Naomi has been living large in her foster home while going through heartworm treatment. Now that she has completed her treatment and tested negative, she is ready to find her new home! Here's what her fosters have to say: "Naomi is a very laidback Boxer-mix who is content with a window with a view and a walk. She is very affectionate (loves being petted) and is even tempered with people and dogs. She is great on a leash, house broken, knows all the typical commands and is a very quick learner. She's a great companion that likes to nap next to you but is ready to go at any moment for a car ride or walk around the neighborhood and would be a great addition to anyone's family." Lou is a loving, mellow, and deeply cuddly dog who has been a comforting, almost therapeutic presence for his family, but now needs a new home where he can continue to thrive. He’s happiest curled up napping on the couch, doesn’t require much exercise, and is fully crate trained, making him an easy companion for a calm household. Lou does best with a fenced-in yard where he can safely enjoy the outdoors, as he does not do well with other dogs and will show aggression toward them. Because of this, he needs to be the only animal in the home—but as the sole furry family member, he will love his people with fierce devotion and is wonderful with humans of all ages.

Story
Rico is about 60 pounds, 6 years old and he loves to cuddle, play, he is the most sweet loving dog I have ever met. I have only been with Rico for about two years, I took him in because his previous owner was unable to care for him. A decision I do not regret at all, however I do work 6 days a week. I unfortunately don’t have enough time for Rico. He is such a good boy and I know whoever ends up with him will absolutely love him. He is part pit so he does have lots of energy! He is great with kids, loves people so much, no trauma, great with big dogs/ cats. Not a huge fan of small dogs! He is wonderful but needs a bigger home and someone with plenty of time. Rico gets very excited and barks and jumps on everyone and pulls on the leash a bit but has never been aggressive towards anyone! People have been intimidated by him but once you let him sniff and jump on you he will give you nothing but kisses and love. Please reach out if interested!

Cyan is a very sweet and shy mixed breed dog. He's around 1 yr old and 35lbs but will likely be 40lbs full grown. He's gentle and loves to give kisses. He gets along well with other dogs and appears non-reactive to cats (although he does not live with any). He would be fine with small children and adults alike. He enjoys chew toys and bones of all kinds and walks gently on a leash. He is still getting the hang of stairs! Cyan is located in Houston TX and will not be transported until the adoption is complete. His fee is $850. If you are interested, you MUST fill out an application at www.recycleddogsrescue.org as the first step. We cannot respond to inquiries - only to completed applications.

SO ABOUT ROCCO! ... ROCCO LOVES his humans, large and small. He LOVES his leashed walks (he's great on the leash). LOVES car rides. LOVES lounging on the couch next to his person. LOVES chasing balls and LOVES his toys. ROCCO has had excellent training and knows sit, down, stay and responds quickly to verbal cues. IDEAL HOME FOR THIS SWEET OLDER GUY? A home that loves and cares for him of course; a home committed to him for life! (we promised him that). A home that will give him the attention he deserves, the exercise he loves every day, a home that gives him the structure and schedule he craves.
