Weighing in at about 65 pounds, this handsome senior found himself in our care after his owner experienced a family hardship and could no longer keep him. Despite the changes in his life, Duke remains a gentle, resilient soul who is ready to start his next chapter with a loving family. At some point in his life, Duke may have suffered a stroke, which left him with facial paralysis on one side of his face. The good news is that it doesn’t slow him down one bit—he eats, drinks, and enjoys life just like any other dog. In fact, his lopsided grin only adds to his unique and charming good looks. Duke enjoys getting out for walks and exploring the world around him. He can pull a bit on the leash, so he may benefit from some structure and guidance in this area, but he’s eager to please and would do well with someone willing to work with him. Casey is a 15-week-old mixed breed puppy. She is 16 pounds. She loves toys and will play with toys for hours. She was abandoned at a shelter with her siblings. Our best guess is that she's some sort of Lab/Pit —but whatever her mix, we know for sure she’s absolutely adorable! She will be spayed and will come with all age-appropriate vaccinations, including rabies, distemper, microchipped and on flea preventative. Casey is looking for a loving family who can help her learn the ropes of housebreaking and leash training. She’s eager to please and full of puppy energy, so patience and lots of love are key! If you’re interested in making Casey part of your family, please submit an application.
