Story
Hollow is on a mission to give love and snuggles — and he takes that job very seriously. This 2 year old Boxer Bulldog mix weighs about 50 pounds and is fully embracing the good life in foster care. Being spoiled? Thriving. Couch cuddles? Professional level. Hollow is a gorgeous boy with the playful energy of a puppy who loves to explore, romp around, and then crash next to his people when the adventure is over. He gets along well with other dogs and would likely enjoy having a four legged sibling to wrestle and play with. He also seems comfortable with children, making him a wonderful candidate for a family home. Best of all, he already has the manners to match his good looks. Hollow is fully house broken, crate trained, does not resource guard, and can be trusted home alone. Hollow is also currently working with Dog Training Elite North Central NJ and excelling in his professional training. His future family will receive refresher courses and unlimited group training, setting everyone up for long term success. Smart, affectionate, playful, and ready to bond deeply with his people — Hollow is truly the total package. Hollow is in foster care, to meet him please first submit an adoption application and we will contact you to schedule! Story
Randall is a young, beefy bully mix looking for his forever home. This happy, friendly boy loves everyone he meets and greets new friends with his signature full-body wiggle that starts at his nose and goes all the way to his tail.Randall is a social guy who enjoys being around people. He brings a lot of joyful energy wherever he goes and would thrive with a family who’s ready for a lovable, friendly companion. He is still working on his manners and would benefit from some basic training to help him channel his excitement. Sometimes he forgets just how big and enthusiastic he is! Because of his bouncy personality, he’d do best in an adult-only home. If you’re looking for a chunky, happy boy with endless wiggles and lots of love to give, Randall might be the perfect addition to your family.

Story
Frost is a beautiful young white Boxer with so much love to give. We do believe she is deaf, which can make the shelter an especially scary and confusing place for such a sweet girl.Despite that, Frost remains incredibly kind, soft, and trusting. She has a calm, gentle nature and just wants to feel safe and loved. She can go home with kids, making her a wonderful candidate for a family ready to give her the patience and understanding she deserves.Because of her hearing impairment, a securely fenced yard is strongly recommended for her safety, and someone with deaf dog experience—or a willingness to learn—is highly encouraged. Frost will need a home that can help guide her with consistency, compassion, and love. She is a special girl who deserves a family that sees how amazing she truly is. Frost is ready to leave the shelter behind and start the happy, secure life she has been waiting for.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Tank is a 3-year-old, slightly under 40 lbs, boxer mix that was found as a stray during his initial stay at the Gloucester County Animal Shelter. His original owners reclaimed him only to return him and his littermate at a later date for reasons not related to Tank. He was then adopted a second time just a few days later, only to be returned due to “guarding his food bowl from their five resident cats”.   When Tank was at the shelter, he shook terribly and would hide in the outer parts of the kennel, hardly being noticed and full of fear and stress. His chances were very slim, so he was pulled by his volunteer buddy.   Tank was pulled into a loving foster home in November 19, and has had time to decompress and shine! He has shown zero guarding concerns towards foster, and is respectful towards small critters (ferrets and guinea pigs in the home). They are not loose in his presence, but he goes over to their habitats, is friendly and respectful of them, and wags his tail.    Tank is not housebroken; he is working hard at it and has improved, but even the vet believes it is 2 and a half years of learned behavior, where he was never taught, so now we are breaking old habits that are instilled in him. He wears washable belly bands that work as diapers for his urine as needed, or when home we just frequently observe and let him out to potty.    Tank is dog selective, and lived in a home with cats prior. However, must go to a home that is savvy and can allow safe separation for cats and eating times. Tank is very kid friendly to respectful children, and does well with women and men. He walks well on a leash, is crate trained, and has learned commands such as “kennel up”, sit and shake. Tank is a complete LOVER, loves to be wrapped up under a blanket laying with his family. If you want a snuggler, Tank is 100% down for that!!    He loves he benebones, cheek rolls and toys so very much, and although he loves the big back yard so much, he prefers hanging out inside, snuggling to watch a show, and chewing a bone with his friends. He gets the zoomies, loves fetch and then is ready to come inside. As a very anxious pup, Tank has overcome so much at such a young age, and his foster family will foster him for as long as it takes to find him his PERFECT match!!    Now with SJR as of late March, we are looking for someone who either works from home, is retired or simply home more times than not, in a quiet home. Tank loves companionship!! He also will thrive with a family who can continually take him out to potty and be understanding and patient. He is a certified foodie, loves snacks and thrives on structure and routine.    He needs a family that will love him unconditionally and not give up on him. Tank really is a genuine sweetheart and loves all of the friends we introduce him to!!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 28, 2026, 7:24 pm

Story
PT (short for Part Time, Pinky Toe, Public Transit, etc.) was born in October 2024 and adopted in January of 2025 Gainesville, FL, and then moved with her family to Philadelphia, PA in July of 2025. She has all of the personality and puppy energy you could ask for, while noticeably chilling out as she grows older. She loves going to the dog park and has incredible agility- truly a graceful freak of a dog! My partner and I have had increasingly busy schedules, and on top of that recently separated. This has put a strain on the amount of time we are able to spend going on long walks, to the park, and focusing on PT's needs in general. While the decision to rehome her has been incredible difficult, ultimately we want to find a home for PT where she can receive all of the attention she deserves.

Story
Paris's Story 🌸 Meet Paris 🌸 This stunning 3-year-old Old English Bulldog mix has been with us since 6/26, and what a journey she’s had. Paris was returned once for being “growly,” but we’re happy to share — that’s not the whole story. Since leaving that situation, Paris has been showing up beautifully. Paris spent most of her life living outdoors. Adjusting to indoor life has been a big transition, but with time, patience, and a loving foster home, she has truly started to shine. Watching her learn what it means to feel safe inside a home has been incredible. 💛 What We’ve Learned in Foster: • She prefers women — she bonds more quickly and seems to feel safest with them. • She needs to be the only pet in the home. • She is crate trained when left alone. Paris is looking for an experienced dog owner — not a first-time home — who understands decompression, structure, and slow introductions. Dogs who grow up outdoors often need patience and guidance to fully adjust to home life. With the right leadership and consistency, they flourish… and Paris is well on her way. She doesn’t need perfection — she needs understanding. She doesn’t need instant trust — she needs someone willing to earn it. And once you do? Her loyalty is something special. 🐾 We are now accepting applications for Paris. If you believe in second chances and have the experience to help her continue thriving, she may be the perfect match for you. Apply today to meet this resilient, beautiful girl at https://www.gloucestercountynj.gov/FormCenter/Animal-Shelter-5/PreAdoption-Application-

Story
Calla 's Story Meet Calla 💙🤍 Calla is a beautiful blue-and-white, four-year-old Pitbull with a gentle soul and a heart that just needs a little time to feel safe. She arrived at the shelter as a stray, and while new situations can be a bit overwhelming for her at first, patience and kindness go a long way with this sweet girl. Calla tends to warm up more quickly to women, but once she trusts you, her loyal and loving nature really shines. Calla is a big fan of her toys and isn’t shy about letting you know how she feels about them—she can get a little vocal and possessive, so she’ll do best in a child free home and with someone who understands and can help manage her enthusiasm. She does well with other dogs and may enjoy a canine companion, but cats are a bit too scary for her, so a cat-free home is best. Looking for a calm, understanding home where she can settle in at her own pace, Calla would make a wonderful companion for someone ready to give this sweet girl the love and stability she deserves. In return, she’ll offer quiet devotion and plenty of personality. 🐾 Please apply for Calla at https://www.gloucestercountynj.gov/FormCenter/Animal-Shelter-5/PreAdoption-Application-50
