Story
Roxy is a very sweet and velco dog, she is a great companion for anyone looking for a cuddle buddy and constant shadow. She is incredibly friendly and sweet towards humans, and a little silly at times. Roxy is a bit older, but she has plenty of spark left in her and i think she has a few more years in her. She CANNOT be housed with other dogs, we tried to work with her through this and it is NOT changing. She wants her own human to herself and does not appreciate any other dog in her space. She is not aggressive to other dogs immediately, so she can be walked and loves to play. She just doesn’t like living with others. Looking for a quiet home with no other pets (we are not sure how she is with cats) and people who are willing to give her the attention she needs, she loves to be with her humans as much as possible.

Story
Randall is a young, beefy bully mix looking for his forever home. This happy, friendly boy loves everyone he meets and greets new friends with his signature full-body wiggle that starts at his nose and goes all the way to his tail.Randall is a social guy who enjoys being around people. He brings a lot of joyful energy wherever he goes and would thrive with a family who’s ready for a lovable, friendly companion. He is still working on his manners and would benefit from some basic training to help him channel his excitement. Sometimes he forgets just how big and enthusiastic he is! Because of his bouncy personality, he’d do best in an adult-only home. If you’re looking for a chunky, happy boy with endless wiggles and lots of love to give, Randall might be the perfect addition to your family.

Look at this freckle faced babydoll! Highlander came in as a stray and was never reclaimed, so now he is looking for a human to love. He is a friendly, playful, happy boy ready to bounce into your life! seems crate trained and keeps a clean kennel. He does know sit and walks pretty nicely on the leash. Hes all boy so be ready to toss that ball and race around the yard with him. He has gotten along well with other dogs here at the shelter, but we always require a dog meet if you already have a dog in the home. Come in and meet this handsome hunk!

Story
Roxy came to the shelter as an owner surrender due to a change in the owner`s situation. She`s a very pretty girl and just the perfect size at about 40lbs. Roxy is extremely high energy and would benefit from an active home but with teens not small kids due to her rough style of play. She is crate trained and housebroken. She loves running around the yard with a rope toy hanging out of her mouth. She is selective with other dogs, but we will do a meet and greet here at the shelter if you already have a dog in the home. Do you need a jogging buddy or hiking partner well look no further then Miss Roxy Johnson!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Tank is a 3-year-old, slightly under 40 lbs, boxer mix that was found as a stray during his initial stay at the Gloucester County Animal Shelter. His original owners reclaimed him only to return him and his littermate at a later date for reasons not related to Tank. He was then adopted a second time just a few days later, only to be returned due to “guarding his food bowl from their five resident cats”.   When Tank was at the shelter, he shook terribly and would hide in the outer parts of the kennel, hardly being noticed and full of fear and stress. His chances were very slim, so he was pulled by his volunteer buddy.   Tank was pulled into a loving foster home in November 19, and has had time to decompress and shine! He has shown zero guarding concerns towards foster, and is respectful towards small critters (ferrets and guinea pigs in the home). They are not loose in his presence, but he goes over to their habitats, is friendly and respectful of them, and wags his tail.    Tank is not housebroken; he is working hard at it and has improved, but even the vet believes it is 2 and a half years of learned behavior, where he was never taught, so now we are breaking old habits that are instilled in him. He wears washable belly bands that work as diapers for his urine as needed, or when home we just frequently observe and let him out to potty.    Tank is dog selective, and lived in a home with cats prior. However, must go to a home that is savvy and can allow safe separation for cats and eating times. Tank is very kid friendly to respectful children, and does well with women and men. He walks well on a leash, is crate trained, and has learned commands such as “kennel up”, sit and shake. Tank is a complete LOVER, loves to be wrapped up under a blanket laying with his family. If you want a snuggler, Tank is 100% down for that!!    He loves he benebones, cheek rolls and toys so very much, and although he loves the big back yard so much, he prefers hanging out inside, snuggling to watch a show, and chewing a bone with his friends. He gets the zoomies, loves fetch and then is ready to come inside. As a very anxious pup, Tank has overcome so much at such a young age, and his foster family will foster him for as long as it takes to find him his PERFECT match!!    Now with SJR as of late March, we are looking for someone who either works from home, is retired or simply home more times than not, in a quiet home. Tank loves companionship!! He also will thrive with a family who can continually take him out to potty and be understanding and patient. He is a certified foodie, loves snacks and thrives on structure and routine.    He needs a family that will love him unconditionally and not give up on him. Tank really is a genuine sweetheart and loves all of the friends we introduce him to!!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 24, 2026, 6:16 pm

Story
Zeppoli is an almost 5 year old Pitbull/boxer/American bully mix. She is full of energy and loves attention and someone to lay with. Zeppoli came to us as an 8 week old puppy and has been with us since. Lately she has not been getting along with our older large Female dog. We have been keeping them separated, but this is neither feasible or fair to either of them. Zeppoli is great with children and humans and has never once shown anything but kindness to her people. She just needs to be the only pet. We simply wish for a safe and loving home for her.
