Google is your typical high energy boxer mix. He loves to walk and play in the yard. His ideal home would be with an active individual, couple, or family. He is very smart and loving. He is best in an only dog household. He is neutered, chipped, and fully vaccinated. Give Google a home and he can be transported to you. ##1549887##

Ziggy is an older distiguished gentledog. He loves to be a couch potato. He does love going for a walk. He is always happy to see people and give them his paw. He follows commands and is crate trained. His nickname is "Tiger" because of his coat. He is very loving to people and selective to other dogs. Proper introduction is always a must. He wouldn't be ideal with a house that has small children. He is always eager to please. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He would love to travel anywhere in the US or Canada. ##1545628##

Story
Meet Stewie  Stewie is a lovable four-month-old mixed breed puppy with the sweetest personality and so much love to give.  He is being fostered in Saylorsburg , PA. He was found as a stray in SC, so we don't know what his mix is but best guess in a Boxer mix.  We expect him to be a medium/large dog when full grown. After a rough start as a stray, this resilient boy is learning just how good life can be in a safe and loving home. Stewie is doing great with potty training and continues to make progress every day. He’s still learning to walk on a leash, but with a little patience and some pocket treats, he’s eager to please and catches on quickly. This playful boy loves other dogs and enjoys making new furry friends. He’s full of fun and energy when it’s time to play. But don’t worry, Stewie is just as happy being a couch potato and soaking up cuddles. Stewie is affectionate, gentle, and full of love. He’s not much of a barker. The only time you’ll really hear him is when he’s trying to convince another dog to play with him. Stewie has come a long way from life on the streets. Now he’s ready for the one thing he deserves most: a forever home filled with love, comfort, and belly rubs. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will bring both joy and snuggles to your life, Stewie might just be your perfect match.A neuter deposit will be required as part of the adoption process.  He is up to date on age appropriate vaccines and microchippped.  He is available for adoption in NJ and the surrounding area. For more information, and to fill out an application, click on the link below:https://peytonsplaceanimalrescue.org/adoption-application ##2762980##

Story
Fiona has been a great family dog. She’s typically very chill with all of our immediate family members. We typically don’t socialize her with young children (other than our kids who she grew up with) as a general precaution so unknown on how she would interact with new children. She’s done well with other dogs in the house when they are properly introduced. She does like her space at times and can be nippy when getting her nails done at home or when being bathed. She also loves to cuddle - she’ll happily lay on the couch all day if you let her. Rehoming due to military move and sadly can’t take her with us.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Tank is a 3-year-old, slightly under 40 lbs, boxer mix that was found as a stray during his initial stay at the Gloucester County Animal Shelter. His original owners reclaimed him only to return him and his littermate at a later date for reasons not related to Tank. He was then adopted a second time just a few days later, only to be returned due to “guarding his food bowl from their five resident cats”.   When Tank was at the shelter, he shook terribly and would hide in the outer parts of the kennel, hardly being noticed and full of fear and stress. His chances were very slim, so he was pulled by his volunteer buddy.   Tank was pulled into a loving foster home in November 19, and has had time to decompress and shine! He has shown zero guarding concerns towards foster, and is respectful towards small critters (ferrets and guinea pigs in the home). They are not loose in his presence, but he goes over to their habitats, is friendly and respectful of them, and wags his tail.    Tank is not housebroken; he is working hard at it and has improved, but even the vet believes it is 2 and a half years of learned behavior, where he was never taught, so now we are breaking old habits that are instilled in him. He wears washable belly bands that work as diapers for his urine as needed, or when home we just frequently observe and let him out to potty.    Tank is dog selective, and lived in a home with cats prior. However, must go to a home that is savvy and can allow safe separation for cats and eating times. Tank is very kid friendly to respectful children, and does well with women and men. He walks well on a leash, is crate trained, and has learned commands such as “kennel up”, sit and shake. Tank is a complete LOVER, loves to be wrapped up under a blanket laying with his family. If you want a snuggler, Tank is 100% down for that!!    He loves he benebones, cheek rolls and toys so very much, and although he loves the big back yard so much, he prefers hanging out inside, snuggling to watch a show, and chewing a bone with his friends. He gets the zoomies, loves fetch and then is ready to come inside. As a very anxious pup, Tank has overcome so much at such a young age, and his foster family will foster him for as long as it takes to find him his PERFECT match!!    Now with SJR as of late March, we are looking for someone who either works from home, is retired or simply home more times than not, in a quiet home. Tank loves companionship!! He also will thrive with a family who can continually take him out to potty and be understanding and patient. He is a certified foodie, loves snacks and thrives on structure and routine.    He needs a family that will love him unconditionally and not give up on him. Tank really is a genuine sweetheart and loves all of the friends we introduce him to!!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 12, 2026, 9:04 pm
