🖤FOSTER-TO-ADOPT MIA🖤 F | 1Y | 26.6 KG | BOXER MIX | TO BE SPAYED | UTD on shots | Housebroken | Crate Trained | Good with dogs | Not cat tested | Not kid tested | Playful | Energetic | Loving If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, and super smart best friend who’s always up for fun, then look no further, Mia is your girl! At just 1 year old, this boxer mix is still very much a playful pup, but she’s already showing just how loving and loyal she can be. Mia is a total socialite who loves meeting new people and greets everyone with tail wags and wiggles. She’s still learning that not everyone enjoys boxer-style hugs, so her foster is teaching her to sit politely for attention. With her eager-to-please personality and love of praise, she’s a quick learner! 🐶✨ Mia shares her foster home with a fellow Bark at the Moon alum, Ginger, and while Ginger prefers a quieter life, Mia is ready for a playful pup sibling who will wrestle, romp, and bond with her. On leash, Mia can get a little too excited when she sees other dogs (and sometimes bunnies, boxer bounce and all!), but she’s improving every day with gentle guidance. When it comes to people, Mia is a velcro-dog through and through. She loves to cuddle, shadow her humans around the house, and curl up close after a day of play. She’s crate trained, housebroken, and sleeps soundly through the night now that she’s learned her crate is a safe, cozy place. Mia’s ideal day? Morning zoomies in the yard, a walk or hike to burn energy, a puzzle toy or Kong to keep her busy, and lots of cuddle time in the evening. She’s not a fan of being left alone too long, so she’ll do best in a home where her people are around more often than not. This girl would love a yard to bounce, play, and shine! The bottom line? Mia is pure joy wrapped in fur: playful, affectionate, goofy, and oh-so-loyal. She’s ready to give her whole heart to a family who will love her as much as she loves them. 👉 Apply to foster-to-adopt Mia today, she’s waiting to wiggle her way into your life! 💕

Story
HARVEY is currently being fostered in TEXAS. Harvey is apx 4-8 month old, boxer mix that was rescued from our local shelter. He is currently 8 pounds on Oct 25th. Harvey was part of a group of dogs that were confiscated by a local Animal Control under a cruelty case. He is going to be a big boy, probably 75-80 pounds fully grown so he needs an accommodating adopter that will put in the time towards training him to be on his best behavior knowing he is going to be a big boy 🙂. Currently Harvey is just a baby and loves food and naps. He is stupid cute and incredibly sweet. He is a giant cuddle bug. He is also playful, silly and plays hard but naps harder. Most of his daily routine is snacking, sleeping and then getting some good play sessions in, pooping 💩 and then repeat. He is a big baby. Great with dogs, cats and kids. We all just adore him. He is such a baby potato and he can be yours! Approved adopters please send your hold requests to the email you were given. To get approved please visit our website www.texaschihuahuarescuecanada.org to fill in an application to adopt.

Story
Available for Foster, Foster to Adopt, or Adoption! Hank has been with us for a while. Poor boy has been here since Oct 2021. He loves to play. He loves attention. He loves treats (who doesn't?). Hank is a really sweet boy. He is getting really stressed living the kennel life, though. This boy needs a home, with a yard and a family to call his own. He has not had many inquiries, he does not seem to be a fan-favorite for reasons we don’t understand, and the kennel life is not meant for him - or really any dog for that matter. Hank is a young loving boy who would be able to grow more in a forever home, or even a foster, to keep him free of stress, to allow him to unleash his crazy, puppy-like self. For a young guy, he has great recall and has been open to welcoming female dogs to play with him. MUST be dog experience, not for a first-time dog owner Name: Hank Breed: boxer mix Weight: 60lbs Gender: Male Spayed/Neutered: Yes Age: 5 years old Medical(shots): Up to date Good with dogs: VERY selective, must be ONLY pet Good with cats: No Good with strangers: yes with proper introductions Good with Kids: yes but over 13 as he doesnt like young kids in his face Guarding issues: yes with food with other dogs but good with people House trained: yes Crate trained : yes Destructive: not at all Leash skills: Good! Due to his trachea he must be walked on a harness only! Okay with manipulations: yes Known commands: sit, lay, paw working on stay and leave it Behaviour issues: guards his food from other dogs but will let me take it Medical issues: damaged trachea Other observations: Hank is very people happy and loves to meet dog friends with the proper introductions. Loves to run so needs space and proper excerise. Good off leash once bonded and can have with excellent recall when properly trained. Loves car rides. He is snuggly, loves to be in your lap. Loves his toys and will carry them on walks or when he goes outside. Not for a first time dog owner. Will need someone with patience and time to continue working with him. He has been in a kennel for almost 3 years. So please understand he will need someone willing to help him decompress from the kennel environment. Once he's comfortable with you and knows you, he's really a sweet boy with a big heart. Hence why we call him our goofball! Hank is all about cuddling and playtime! Story
Ziggy is an older distiguished gentledog. He loves to be a couch potato. He does love going for a walk. He is always happy to see people and give them his paw. He follows commands and is crate trained. His nickname is "Tiger" because of his coat. He is very loving to people and selective to other dogs. Proper introduction is always a must. He wouldn't be ideal with a house that has small children. He is always eager to please. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He would love to travel anywhere in the US or Canada. ##1545628##
