Gizzy just needs a comfy couch and some TLC while she gets her fresh start outside the shelter. Gizzy and Snowflake were found together in a canal. Both were malnourished and covered in ring worm. Gizzy has gained 20lbs already and her skin looks much better! You bring the love, she’ll bring the snuggles and silly zoomies. Can you give this sweet girl a short-term foster home? They are confused, not understanding how their world changed so quickly, we promised them it is for the better!! Both Ricky (brindle male) and Bailey (fawn female) are just 2 years old. Their owner no longer wanted them and stopped providing basic care. They spent their lives outside, covered in fleas and hungry Ricky and Bailey will be fully vetted and given everything they’ve been missing: medical care, full bellies, warmth, and kindness. These two will finally learn what it means to be part of a family. Please keep them in your thoughts as they begin their journey with us. Fosters or adopters are needed beginning next week. Honeycomb - Perfectly named for her sweet, gentle soul. Despite her past, Honeycomb is loving, brave and incredibly easygoing. Since coming into rescue, she’s gained 5 pounds and is thriving—especially now that she’s found her favorite thing: her people. She’s a total daddy’s girl. Honeycomb is fully housebroken, non-destructive when left alone, and easy in just about every setting. She gets along with other dogs, the resident kitten, adults, and kids. She rides great in the car, walks nicely on leash, and is currently learning sit, stay, and come. She’s food and treat motivated, loves bully sticks and Nylabones, and considers mealtime a highlight of her day. Most of all, Honeycomb adores humans—snuggling, sleeping nearby, and soaking up affection. She’s quiet (no barking!), calm, and would be a good condo or apartment dog. The only thing Honeycomb isn’t fond of is the cold but she likes to dress up in coats. Breed: Boxer (mix?)
