Meet Moxie! Moxie is a 5 YO girl who is looking for a new home because she and her female littermate, who was raised with her from puppyhood, are no longer getting along. She currently lives peacefully with a male dog, and has lived with cats. She is great with kids of all ages, has no resource guarding, doesn't need to be crated, and is comfortable being left home on her own! She knocks it out of the park with her manners too! If you think Moxie would be a good fit for your family, send us a message to learn more or click on the link below to apply. Good with dogs,

Story

THEY’VE BEEN THROUGH ENOUGH. NOW IT’S THEIR TURN TO LEARN THAT LIFE CAN BE GOOD. â¤ï¸ Please welcome Paraguay, Argentina, Brazil & Columbia. These four beautiful girls were among the dogs rescued from a condemned property where they lived covered in fleas, feces and urine, with little to no socialization. Right now, they’re still in the shelter—and they’re struggling. The noise, unfamiliar surroundings and sheer overwhelm have made it difficult for them to understand that people are here to help. But their story isn’t over. â¤ï¸ This week, they’ll leave the shelter. We’re hoping that with quiet spaces, patience, gentle care and time, we’ll begin to see these scared girls discover their brave. We can’t wait to meet the dogs hiding underneath all that fear. Welcome, girls. Your good life is coming. â¤ï¸ https://chboxerrescue.com/adopt/September 30, 2026, 7:16 pm

Story

Meet Brunson! Brunson is a 70 lb, approximately 1.5 year pup who is coming back into rescue through no fault of his own. He was adopted in March, and while his family loves him dearly, Brunson has decided he would really prefer to be the only dog in the home. He doesn’t care for his boxer sister and would much rather have all the attention to himself. And sometimes, these things just happen. His foster mom from before his adoption said Brunson was one of the best boys she’s ever had in her home. His current family feels the same and wants what is best for him. Brunson is a happy, energetic boy who enjoys walks, greets people nicely, and can be left out of his crate without being destructive. He LOVES to run, and he can jump surprisingly high on all four paws! For Brunson, the right home is securely fenced yard. No other animals including cats. No small children due to his size and exuberance. Story

Travis: Take Two Travis is a 75-pound Dogo Argentino with a goofy streak as big as his paws. At just about 1.5 years old, he’s the perfect blend of playful, affectionate, and devoted—a total mush who leans right into you for love and reassurance. True to his breed, Travis is loyal, observant, and deeply connected to his people. He’s the kind of dog who wants to be part of your world—whether that’s riding shotgun in the car, accompanying you to the vet like a pro, or simply being your steady, loving shadow throughout the day. Travis has done wonderfully with the dogs he’s met and has even shown he can coexist with cats. He was originally found as a stray alongside his friend Taylor, and while they share a special bond, both have grown into individuals able to thrive in homes of their own. His current environment is a busy household with constant activity and children coming and going. Like many devoted family guardians, Travis gets puzzled by the open-door lifestyle and the unpredictability that comes with it. Through it all, he has remained a loyal companion—noble, steady, and deeply devoted to the people he loves, always keeping a watchful eye on his family. He would truly shine in a home that offers a bit more structure and calm—where he can relax, stop supervising, and be his best self. If you’re looking for a loyal companion, a gentle giant, and a best friend who will be by your side through it all, Travis is your guy. Story

Check out adoptable Brewsters glow up! At just 2 years old, Brewster has already overcome a lot. He came to us from an extremely rural shelter after being abandoned with an open wound, and covered in fleas and ticks, but with some love and care he’s healed beautifully and is ready for adoption. He’s incredibly sweet, loves people and little dogs, and takes his toys very seriously. A home with an endless supply of stuffies is basically a non-negotiable. Brewster has no known history with cats or kids, but he is more than ready to find a human to love him like crazy! Link below to apply.
