Story
Hello! My name is Misha, and I'm a pittie mix from Georgia. Although the staff doesn't know much about my past, they have gotten to know me quite well since I've been here at Stray Haven. They were told I don't like men, but they haven't seen any issues with the male staff. Please be patient and take things slowly until I get comfortable with you. I'd love to meet you! Stop in and they will tell you what a good girl I am! Tell them you want to meet Misha.________Update from one of our volunteers after spending time with Misha:"Today I was Misha's personal chauffeur. Due to the heat, we kept our walks short and in the shade. Most of our time was spent in the air-conditioned car listening to audiobooks. Misha is approximately 4 years old, she's a beautiful mix-breed girl who has called Stray Haven "home" for over a year. She originally came to the shelter from the south hoping to find her forever family. When Misha arrived at Stray Haven it was said she could be cautious of men. But when I took her out last fall, she was fine with meeting men, and today was the same. She loves her male and female caretakers at the shelter too.Misha isn't the type of dog who will demand your attention and can be a little slow to warm up to new people but she is wonderful. She really enjoys her walks, treats, and car rides, she gives the best ear kisses to her chauffeur. Misha prefers to be the only pet in the home, she'd love to be your one and only. Misha has the distinction of being the shelter's longest-term dog resident but wishes someone would give her a home. Please spread the news of Misha's wish for a forever home, it's out there somewhere."Stray Haven Humane Society & SPCA194 Shepard Rd., Waverly, NY 14892(607) 565-2859, www.strayhavenspca.org Open hours:Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pmSaturday-Sunday 10am-4pmClosed on Mondays

Story
Hello Everyone,My name is Rebel and I am a Pitbull mix. My brother Boone, my sister Annabelle, and I came to Stray Haven from a neglect case, hoping to find a loving forever home. I am a very energetic young pup who needs lots of exercise, walks, or a big yard to run around. I am not food or toy-aggressive, so I think that is something to brag about! I can be a bit reserved when meeting new people, but I become more outgoing over time. Please stop in and meet me!Stray Haven Humane Society & SPCA194 Shepard Rd., Waverly, NY 14892(607) 565-2859, www.strayhavenspca.org Open hours:Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pmSaturday-Sunday 10am-4pmClosed on Mondays
