This adorable Boxer mix puppy is full of fun, love, and just the right amount of puppy mischief. Bailey is a social butterfly who gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes and greets life with enthusiasm and a smile. Bailey loves spending time outdoors, zooming around the backyard, chewing on her favorite bones, and carrying her beloved stuffies from room to room. She’s learning the ropes of puppy life, including stairs and leash walking, and is making great progress every day. House training is still a work in progress, but she’s well on her way. One of Bailey’s favorite hobbies is turning herself into a living blanket. Lie down on the floor and she’ll happily roll all over you while delivering an endless supply of puppy kisses. Personal space? Bailey has never heard of it! She has met a cat and has been polite and curious, with no concerning behavior observed. Bailey also rides beautifully in the car, making her an excellent companion for adventures near and far. Bailey is sweet, affectionate, playful, and full of joy. Story
Lua / Female / 3 years old / 49 lbs / Boxer Mix / Good with calm dogs (male dogs preferred) / Good with cats / Good with older, dog-savvy children / From Mexico / Fostered in Warkworth Lua’s story started in Mexico, where her mother was found chained to a fence on an empty lot with no shelter. After giving birth to four puppies, local rescue partners stepped in, freed the family, and brought them to safety. One of those puppies was Lua. Now fully grown, Lua has become a bright, affectionate dog with a playful spirit and a deep bond with the people she trusts. Lua is being fostered in a structured training environment, where she has made huge progress with confidence, trust, and social skills. The timid puppy she once was has grown into a loving companion who genuinely enjoys being close to her people. Lua is fun, goofy, and full of energy. Her foster jokes that she has an “invisible trampoline” because she bounces through life with so much excitement. She thrives on praise, affection, and connection, and nothing makes her happier than spending time with the humans she loves. Once she feels comfortable, Lua is incredibly affectionate and playful. She loves attention, enjoys training and enrichment activities, and is especially motivated by dehydrated beef heart treats. She also loves exploring outdoors and has been known to entertain herself chasing frogs around the yard. Lua continues to make positive progress meeting new people, including men. She may need a little time to build trust at first, but she has shown that when people respect her space and allow her to approach at her own pace, she settles in beautifully. Recently, Lua met a male adopter during one of another dog's adoption pick-ups and did amazing, showing a growing level of comfort and confidence around new people. Lua has also shown that she can coexist well with calm, balanced dogs, especially respectful male dogs. She communicates clearly and appropriately with other dogs when she needs space. During a recent introduction with a new dog, Lua set boundaries appropriately when the other dog crowded her space. Since then, the dogs have continued improving together as introductions progress. Her close companion has recently transitioned to a Foster-to-Adopt home, and Lua is now beginning to build new relationships with other dogs in care. Her foster is continuing introductions to help her expand her social circle and confidence. Lua would do best in a quiet suburban or rural home rather than a busy condo or apartment setting. She has natural guardian instincts and will alert bark when she notices unfamiliar sounds or activity, so shared hallways and high-traffic environments are likely to be overwhelming for her. She has made excellent progress with her manners and impulse control, including calmer greetings and mealtimes. She settles well into routine and sleeps comfortably in her crate overnight. Lua could do well with older, dog-savvy teenagers who understand canine body language and know how to respect a dog’s boundaries. She will thrive with patient adopters who are committed to continuing her training and helping her build confidence at her own pace. What makes Lua so special is how much she has overcome. With structure, patience, and support, she has grown into a loyal, loving dog who forms incredibly strong bonds with her people. She is ready for a committed home that will continue celebrating her progress and giving her the stability she deserves. Due to Lua’s unique circumstances, her adoption fee has been sponsored by Fetch + Releash. Approved adopters must also commit to continuing training with a certified positive reinforcement trainer following adoption to help set Lua up for success. Story
Meet Gucci a gentle, loving soul from Mexico who deserves a second chance at the safe and happy life shes never truly had. Gucci is a beautiful Boxer mix with a soft black-and-white coat and an even softer heart.Gucci has the perfect medium energy level happy to enjoy playtime and companionship, but also content to relax quietly by your side. Her story is one of survival and hope.Gucci was rescued in Mexico City while pregnant, facing an uncertain future on the streets. The rescuer who first took her in normally helps dogs by spaying and neutering them before returning them back outside to survive on their own. But Guccis story touched hearts deeply. She is currently being kept safe through temporary boarding that is being personally funded because no one wants to see her returned to the streets again. Now, Gucci urgently needs a forever family one that will finally show her the stability, safety, and unconditional love she has always deserved. Though she can be a little shy at first, Gucci warms up beautifully once she feels safe. She is incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate with people, including children, and she gets along wonderfully with other dogs. In fact, she finds comfort sleeping in her crate beside her best friend Prada, where she feels safe and protected.Gucci is house trained, crate trained, non-destructive, and not much of a barker. She rides calmly in the car while crated and is currently learning leash skills. She would love a home with a yard to stretch her legs, but with patience and love, she could also adjust to apartment living. After everything she has been through, Gucci doesnt need perfection she just needs someone willing to choose her forever. Someone who will never let her wonder where she belongs again. She has already survived so much. Now she deserves the beautiful life waiting on the other side of rescue. Story
Rusty Roo is a lover not a fighter, he is a sweet loving guy. A little shy at first but comes around quickly.Rusty Roo and his siblings were on a property with no food or water They were starved for food and medical attention. Rusty Roo was so weak he couldn't move for weeks. He was fed through a tub until he got his strength up. Everyday was a new day for survival..Rusty Roo's foster family has been key in helping him learn what love looks like. He enjoys being outside helping with flowerbeds, laying with the cats or the pet rabbit. By using a slow feeder he has learned to taste his food. He can be a little shy with new friends but warms up quickly. He is crated for 6-8 hours during the day when his foster family is at work and has regular exposure and play time with children, other dogs, cats and even rabbits! All of the above are very dog savvy so they understand how to interact with young dogs. He is truly a sweet and beautiful boy who will make an excellent addition to the right family!
