Story
Ollie is a 7-year-old pit/boxer mix who is incredibly sweet, cuddly, and very well-mannered. He gets along great with cats, dogs, and children. Ollie loves to run and play and would do best in a home with space where he can get plenty of attention. He is not neutered. Up to date on vaccines. We are looking for a loving home that can take him in as soon as possible.

Nala came from a shelter! She is fun, loving and energetic! I just unfortunately moved back home and don’t have the right home for her. She needs a place where she can run around in a big back yard! This is not a scam! She just really needs a new home and I would rather not take her back to the shelter.

Story
Meet Sweet Ruth . Ruth is a 2-year-old, 60-lb Boxer/Black Mouth Cur mix with a gentle heart and an incredibly smart mind. Before rescue, she survived on her own for at least 6 months in an industrial area, skillfully avoiding capture while kind mechanics made sure she had food. That survival intelligence still shines through today. One of our foster moms started tracking her story, and after months and a dramatic rescue at the end of December, Ruth moved into this foster mom's care and has proven to be a polite, fully house-trained houseguest. Even when scared, she has never shown aggression — only quiet caution. She’s shy, observant, and deeply gentle. Ruth reads the room beautifully. When unsure, she gives herself space. She’s still nervous about leashes and handling, but she now allows gentle muzzle scratches and is slowly learning that human touch can feel safe. Watching her begin to enjoy ear scratches and soft affection has been amazing. She’s wonderful with other dogs — playful when invited, calm when not — and happily coexists with dogs both big and small. At home, she’s a quiet shadow, content to lounge nearby while her foster mom works and zooms. Because of her past, Ruth is a high flight-risk dog early on. She needs a patient, committed adopter with a secure fenced yard, experience with fearful dogs, and safety tools like GPS collars and double leashes. Local adoption preferred, but the perfect Northeastern candidate might be worth the trip. Ruth is a sweet, food-motivated, and incredibly smart. With patience and time, she has all the makings of a once-in-a-lifetime companion. Story
There are some things in rescue work that are simply impossible to understand. One of those things is how anyone could throw a big, beautiful black Boxer who is 3-4 years old and 83 pounds,  from a moving truck and drive away.  But that is how Troy’s story began. On a quiet country road, good people working in their yard witnessed the unthinkable. They saw a truck slow down just enough to push this large dog out onto the pavement. He hit the ground on his head, dazed and bleeding, while the truck sped off without a second glance. Confused and hurting, Troy didn’t know who to trust. It took time, patience, and soft reassurance before he would allow those same strangers to help him. When he finally climbed into their backseat, his big, injured head rested in his rescuer’s lap the entire drive — seeking comfort even after such betrayal.  Physically, Troy has healed well. His wounds have closed and his strength has returned. But emotionally, you can still see that he is waiting for someone to prove that he is safe… truly safe… forever. And here is the remarkable part — Troy is an exceptional dog.He is sweet, obedient, and wonderfully behaved in the home. He does not dig, does not climb fences, and respects his space. He wants structure, kindness, and someone to belong to. While he can coexist with some larger dogs, he would truly flourish as the only dog in the home where he doesn’t have to compete for affection. Cats are not a good match for him. A securely fenced yard would give him the freedom to stretch his legs and enjoy life while feeling protected. Troy doesn’t need pity. He needs commitment. He needs a Boxer lover who understands the loyalty and devotion this breed gives and who is ready to return that devotion tenfold. Someone who will look into his soulful eyes and promise that he will never again be discarded or unwanted. We have helped him start over. Now we are praying the right person will step forward and give him the stable, joyful future he deserves. If you believe you could be that person for Troy, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Contact ccrtennessee@gmail.com.March 10, 2026, 1:46 pm

Story
Hi, my name is Rosie. I'm a somewhat shy but very affectionate little dog. I'm also very afraid of loud noises, and I don't usually like being around other dogs for the same reason. But I'm very playful. Unfortunately, my owners can't keep me because we live in a very small apartment and because of health problems. Being a very energetic dog, I need space to run and play.

Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained,
Story
Xena’s mother was a pit mix and her father was a full-blooded long-haired German Shepherd, making her a unique and beautiful mix. She is very sweet and affectionate with her human and enjoys attention and companionship. Xena needs a new home where she is the only dog. A senior dog in the household picked a fight with her, and although Xena did not back down, she was not the aggressor. Due to this incident, she cannot be trusted around other dogs. She is comfortable with teenage boys in the home, though her behavior around small children is unknown. Xena has been an indoor dog, is fully house trained, and prefers being inside, staying close to her human rather than spending time outdoors. She would thrive in a loving, single-dog home where she can receive all the care, attention, and affection she deserves.
