Hi there, I'm Precious. They say that I am called this because I am the most precious dog here at God's Dogs Rescue. I came to the rescue in October of 2022 to have a safe place for me to have and raise my puppies. All my puppies were adopted by the end of January 2023, but I am still here looking for my furever home. I am a bigger girl, but this just means there is more of me to cuddle you, because I love cuddling it's one of my top 3 favorite things. 1) Food- I love food and will do almost anything you ask if you have a treat involved. 2) Cuddles- on your lap, on the couch, in the bed wherever there is a comfy space with pillows or a human I want to be there. 3) Kisses- I have a love of giving kisses to people, especially kids. Although not everyone likes it when I try to kiss them and that makes me sad. 4) Honorable mention- I like going on walks or in the car for a ride, although I prefer just lazing around at home. My current fosters say that I am a "house hippo with springs in my feet whatever that means; I just know sometimes, when I get super happy, I feel like I could fly- or jump really high. I love their kids and am very good with them even the tiny ones. I get along with most other dogs I meet, although I have a big personality about me, because I'm a boss, so sometimes other dogs don't like that about me. I tolerate cats although if they give me too much attitude or growl at me, I can't help but to give them piece of my mind. I like most new people I meet although I had a rough start in life so sometimes, I can be a little wary with men, with time though I adjust, and we can become best friends forever. A few more little details about me: I am almost 3 years old I am a Boxer/Shepherd mix I am great with kids I am good with Cats and Dogs I am crate-trained I am housebroken I can be adopted in Texas or anywhere in the US too! Introducing Vito! The sweetest most cuddly best friend you could ask for! He is around 6 or 7 years old and loves to play and go on long walks and roadtrips! Vito is my family pet and when my mom could no longer take care of him I took him in not wanting him to have to go to a new home with people he doesn’t know, unfortunately he does not get along well with my two smaller dogs and I can no longer keep him in my home as it’s not fair to any of them! Vito would do best in a home with a big yard, no other pets and preferably a couple or a woman. He was adopted as a puppy from a rescue and we were told he had been abused by the previous owner, a male, and he is very shy around men still but will warm up quickly! Vito has been around multiple children and does not seem to have any issues I would say no smaller children as they don’t know to not mess with a dog and could cause him to nip back. All current vet records will be included, please reach out with any questions, thank you!
