COURTESY LISTINGThis dog is a courtesy listing (not in the AARF program) but we will be reviewing applications and helping the owner find the right home for Bowser. Please visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-app/ to apply. Bowser is a big-hearted, big-energy boy who’s ready to find a home that can keep up with his zest for life. At just 2 years old, this handsome Boxer/Pit Bull mix weighs around 70 pounds and brings a whole lot of love, intelligence, and personality wherever he goes. Bowser is brilliant, energetic, and affectionate. He absolutely adores kids, but because of his strength and enthusiasm, supervision is recommended around younger children. He gets along well with some dogs, but he would truly shine as an only dog, where he can soak up all the attention. Bowser is convinced he’s a lap dog and will happily try to cuddle his way into your heart (and your personal space). He’s also quite vocal and loves to “talk back,” which is endlessly entertaining and makes his personality really stand out. This smart guy already knows several commands, including sit, come, off, heel, no, and lay down. He is fully house-trained with no accidents and is very comfortable in a crate—he even sleeps in one regularly. If you love to run, Bowser might just be your perfect match. Running is his favorite thing in the world! He also loves chasing a ball and playing tug-of-war and will happily keep going long after you’re tired. He needs plenty of space to stretch his legs and burn off energy. Bowser would do best in an active, structured environment. He’d especially love having an active older child or teen (around 13 years old) to run and play with. If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic, and endlessly entertaining companion who will keep you moving and laughing, Bowser might just be your perfect match!  Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. March 7, 2026, 9:47 am

Story
Yee-Haw! Just one 'Good Ol' Boy", never meanin' no harm! We named this handsome boy Bo after the Duke boys because he's always straight'nin' the curves, flattenin' the hills, and makin' his way the only way he knows how-usually at zoomy speeds across the yard! This loving laid back boy is ready to be in his forever home where he will be loved till the end. His first year of life was a hard one as he was rescued from a cruelty case. That time in his life is now gone, and he is ready to move forward into a loving home where he can show off his true nature that includes gentles kisses and lazy naps. Bo is, what we think, a Boxer/Pit mix who is around 1 year old, great with other dogs, people and children. Bo has had to learn everything even how to wear a collar. He is a bit rough around the edges but has made vast improvements with leash walking and a few basic manners. Bo has never lived in a house and will need some help adjusting to one but that shouldn't steer people away from this lovable guy. That only means you will need patience with him like most rescue pups. Everyone that meets Bo loves Bo. He hasn't met a stranger nor a strange dog that he didn't love. Give this hunk a chance at the life he deserves.

Shinzi is sweet and loving and full of energy. She's excited to play with humans and becomes calm and affectionate towards small children. She will need a big backyard to run and play in. She is not animal friendly. She was obtained as a free puppy in Louisiana and moved up to Tennessee. She is 10 years old in human years. She loves to go for walks, play and cuddle.

Story
Nala came from a shelter! She is fun, loving and energetic! I just unfortunately moved back home and don’t have the right home for her. She needs a place where she can run around in a big back yard! This is not a scam! She just really needs a new home and I would rather not take her back to the shelter.
