Story
Ellie is an amazing dog and I am so sad to rehome her. We are moving (and unfortunately and heart breaking) we can't take her with us. I got Ellie from a rescue group when she was a puppy. She had been severely beaten (scars on her head and legs) and was deprived of food. Once she was healthy enough to adopt, she joined our family. She is absolutely wonderful with kids and gets along great with other dogs. She is not aggressive at all. In fact, she normally ends up cowering down to other dogs when approached. She is good on a leash, knows how to sit and stay. Understands verbal and hand commands as long as you continuously use them with her. She is very loving and enjoys hugs and affection. Ellie is 7 years old. She still has some energy in her, but mainly loves to sleep on her beds during the day (beds can be provided). I hope to find her a caring home where she can enjoy outside time and lots of love.

Story
2/13/2026 Nova III is an owner surrender looking for a new home. Hi! My name is Nova! I am a beautiful 1 year old white boxer girl that is an owner surrender due to my family not having room for me. I am an active girl that also happens to be deaf but don't let that shy you away! It is said that I live with and get along with other dogs! I also live with 3 kids (ages 6-18 years) and am good with them! I have never lived with a cat so it is uncertain if I am feline friendly. I am crate trained but will find a way out of it if able. I am a young girl and learning, but I will need assistance with house training in my forever home. At night I sleep in a kennel and when the humans must be away, I am good outside but do not like being left alone inside. When outside I am curious what is under the grass and will dig to find out. During my time outdoors it is important for me to have proper supervision because I can not hear cars coming or potential danger. I do not like being alone or in my kennel for a long time but I do love riding in the car, digging, chewing on toys, being around other dogs, and people! If you think I would make a great addition to your home, contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you!  ##2657224##

Story
Hi! My name is Miller! I am a handsome approximately 2 year old flashy fawn male that resided in the shelter for a short time where I was very scared so the rescue took me in and I am doing wonderful in my foster home! I am a sweet boy that is learning how to play with toys and leash walking. I am house trained, crate trained, know basic commands, will sit for my meals, and am very curious and active! I currently live with a male boxer and we go on daily walks together and eat meals at the same time with no issues! It is recommended to have an absorbable mat under my food and water bowl because when I eat and drink my underbite causes quite the mess! It is unknown if I have lived with a cat so it is uncertain if I am feline friendly. I may be a little rough for smaller children because I do not know my own size and strength so a home with older kids or dog savvy smaller children would be suitable for me! Every day I'm learning more on how to be the best boy. If you think I would make a great addition to your family and you can continue patiently working with me on manners, contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you!  If you're interested in fostering a dog, please fill out the Foster Application   https://austinboxerrescue.com/ways-to-help/foster/    If you're interested in adopting a dog, please fill out the Adoption Application  http://austinboxerrescue.com/adoption-application/ Our volunteers will work with you to find the best dog for your home. ##2738803##

Story
Hi! My name is Adelia! I am a beautiful 8-9 reddish-fawn sugar faced girl that was a stray but am thriving in my foster home! I have short bursts of energy and love to chase balls, play frisbee, or play with the other dogs for a few minutes and then come inside for a nice nap next to the humans or on a comfy bed. I love stuffed animals and will carry them around to show off or play tug of war with! I am super sweet and love giving and receiving affection. If you don't mind me following you, I like to do it to make sure I do not miss out on anything.  I am very smart and know to sit, shake, down, stay, leave it, and drop it! Because I get extremely stressed in the crate but am a well behaved girl, I can be trusted to be left out to freely roam the house. I typically am only left alone for 3-4 hours because I have an 'old lady bladder' and need to be let outside. I am house trained, leash trained, and at night I sleep on the end of the humans' bed. I currently live with a male and female boxer and I love to play with them! I will give corrections when I am done and want to be left alone or nap so having a dog companion that is ok with that is ideal. My foster mom says I "am basically near perfect" and I agree! If you think I would make a great addition to your home contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you! ##2735250##

Story
Only-Pet Home Needed We need to rehome our dog. She is a pit bull / Rottweiler / dachshund mix and is very loving and loyal. This is a very hard decision, but she recently attacked another dog in our home, and we no longer feel she is safe living with other pets. She needs to be the only pet in a calm, stable home. She would do best with someone who has dog experience, a secure yard, and no other animals. Preferably no small children. She loves relaxing at home, going for rides, being near her person, sunbathing, chew toys, and having a yard. She can be a sweet companion in the right environment, but I want to be fully transparent that she cannot go to a home with other pets. Located in Leander, TX. Please message me if she sounds like a good fit for you.
