Hello friends! Thank you for considering Frost for your new home. Frost is a great little energetic dog, especially for experienced puppy / dog owners, he has begun his demeanor training, can socialize with everyone and is very playful with other dogs, beware of his cuddles!! I am sad to be putting him up for adoption but my support system to maintain him has vanished and I am unable to keep him. Please help me finding a warm home for this little guy.

Story
Chipotle is the most loving, goofy, good boy! A little needy in the best way, Chipotle is obsessed with his human and dog friends. He loves to curl up next to you on the couch, nuzzle in close, and shower you with kisses. On walks, he's constantly checking in, offering sweet boops and gentle nibbles just to make sure you're having fun too. An extra-sensitive soul, Chipotle has a natural caretaker instinct—he'll rush over to check on kids who tumble at the park and gets genuinely concerned when he hears crying babies on TV. If someone seems stressed, don't be surprised if he presses his face right up to the screen. Squat down and open your arms, and Chipotle may reward you with one of his famous hugs, wrapping his paws around your neck and pressing his face into yours. Chipotle is a high-energy pup who starts his mornings with zoomies and enthusiasm. He could happily spend all day playing with other dogs and loves making new canine friends wherever he goes. True to his playful nature, he's a fan of wrestling, chasing, and roughhousing—especially with other larger dogs. Chipotle would thrive in a home with dog companions, daily exercise, and plenty of opportunities for snuggles and affection. He's crate-trained overnight and is comfortable free-roaming the house while his person is at work. Chipotle walks nicely on a leash but can be reactive to wheels, unfamiliar people, or exciting situations, sometimes getting a little overstimulated. He is protective of the people he loves and is currently working on feeling more comfortable with strangers and visitors to the home. At the dog park, though, he's in his element and happiest making friends with everyone he meets. Chipotle responds best to positive reinforcement and gentle guidance; yelling or loud noises can make him anxious. He's incredibly eager to please, loves learning new things, and already knows commands like sit, down, shake, crate, stay, drop it, and leave it. If you're looking for a loyal best friend with a huge heart, endless affection, and a playful spirit, Chipotle might just be your perfect match.

Story
Meet Mildred — the gentle-hearted girl who smiles when she sees you! Mildred is a sweet, mellow pup with the perfect mix of calm and playful. She’s happy to lounge quietly by your side while you work from home, but she’s also always up for a backyard zoomie session or a good game of fetch. And when you come home after being away? Get ready to be greeted by the cutest smile — yes, she literally smiles with her lips pulled back in pure joy! She’s completely house-trained, non-destructive, and free-roams the house while you’re gone. Mostly, she just wants a cozy spot on the couch while you're out. At night, she sleeps soundly on her bed in her foster’s room and doesn’t make a peep — even if you get up. Mildred is polite and loving, but not demanding. She enjoys affection and being near her people, and she shows her appreciation with soft tail wags and happy snuggles. She has met young children (a 4-year-old and a baby!) and did great, so she may be a lovely fit for a family with kids of any age. She hasn’t lived with other pets yet, but she’s shown calm interest in dogs and cats on walks. Her leash manners are coming along nicely — she’s strong and very squirrel-focused, but she's already showing improvement. She knows “sit” and is happy to learn more! Whether you’re working from home or enjoying a quiet evening, Mildred is easy to have around and brings a steady, joyful presence to the house. She’s loving, gentle, and just a touch goofy — and she’s ready to find her perfect forever family. Could Mildred be the one to make you smile right back?

Story
Dimples is the kind of dog who steals your heart quietly. With his soulful eyes and gentle presence, he’s a sensitive, tender-hearted boy who just needs a little time to feel safe, and once he does, his sweetness truly shines. He’s been making wonderful progress as he settles into a home routine, gaining confidence in ways that feel like big victories for him. New things can be intimidating at first, but with patience and encouragement, Dimples rises to the occasion and seems genuinely proud of himself when he conquers something new. He’s a champion napper who loves cozy spots, lounging on the couch, or curling up on his dog bed while you go about your day. Dimples forms deep bonds with his people and shows his affection in the softest ways, with gentle tail wags, sweet greetings, and a calm desire to be close. He can be cautious with new people and appreciates a slow, respectful approach, but trust comes with consistency and kindness. On walks, he’s relaxed and social with other dogs, enjoying polite hellos and moving along happily without pulling. He’s still learning the ropes of home life and does best with supervision, clear routines, and positive reinforcement. Chew toys are a favorite, and he responds well to redirection as he continues to figure things out. A calm, confident canine companion could be a wonderful role model for him and help boost his confidence even more. Dimples has so much love to give and is blossoming more each day. For someone who believes in going slow, building trust, and celebrating progress, he has the potential to be an incredibly loyal and rewarding companion.

Meet Chili! Chili is a 5-year-old sweetheart who’s been patiently waiting far too long for her forever home. Don’t let her time in the shelter fool you, this girl’s heart is as big and loving as they come! She’s the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. Chili loves long walks where she can explore and sniff to her heart’s content, but she’s just as happy curling up for a long, cozy nap afterward. Belly rubs? Her absolute favorite. If you’ve got hands, she’s ready! Chili also has a goofy, silly side that will keep you smiling. Whether she’s making funny faces or wiggling around for attention, she knows how to bring joy to every moment. All she needs now is someone to give her the chance she’s been waiting for, a loving home where she can finally belong. Could Chili be your gal? 🐾💛 Chili knows her basics (sit, down, stay), is crate trained, and comes with a lifetime of trainer support from APA. She enjoys play dates and would live well with a dog friend who matches her energy. Chili likes to take her time to warm up to new people, so slow intros and a home without small kids is her preference. See more of her story on instagram: @adopt_chili_austinpetsalive
