Story
2/28/2024 updated 4/6/2025 Ross aka Tucker is an owner surrender looking for a new home. Hi! My name is Ross aka Tucker! I am a handsome 9-year-old brindle boy that is an owner surrender due to not being dog friendly and for everyone’s safety, it is best that I am the only dog in the home. My current home is next to a creek/golf club that is unfenced, and I do not get along with any animals that come into my yard. I am described as friendly, active, smart, playful, affectionate, and obedient! Like a typical boxer, I love kids! There are no kids in my current home but there are a lot of neighbor kids that I interact with and they love me! I am house trained and have had crate training in the past, but I am able to be trusted to freely roam the house when the humans are away. I initially bark when they leave the home but settle in once they are gone. Like a true king, at night I sleep on a stacked throne of 3 dog beds in the human’s bedroom. When outside, I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, Kong toys, bones, being brushed, and catching frisbees! My current family wants nothing more than for me to have a safe and active home for me to play and be loved! If you think I would be a good addition to your family, contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you! ##1983782##

Story
2/25/2025 Brady II is an owner surrender looking for a new home. Hi! My name is Brady II ! I am a handsome 5-year-old flashy fawn boy that is an owner surrender due to my owner passing away and I am on the hunt for my forever home! I am described as friendly, active, smart, and affectionate! Although I prefer the company of humans and very friendly to everyone I meet, I am said to be dog friendly with those my size or bigger because I get "too interested" in smaller dogs. I do not currently live with children so a proper meet and greet would be needed. It was stated that in my previous home that I did not like cats, so I prefer a cat free home. I am house trained, crate trained, and at night I sleep in my kennel. When the humans must be away, I am fine being left alone and very quiet in my crate. While outside, I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. I'm not too interested in toys and will watch you go pick up a ball that you threw for me to get.  Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, getting attention, being with humans, and food! If you think I would make a great addition to your family, contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you!  ##2312412##

Story
7/10/2025 Bailey VII is an owner surrender looking for a new home. Hi! My name is Bailey VII! I am a beautiful 6 year old flashy fawn girl that is an owner surrender due to my owner's declining health and he is unable to care for me any longer. I am described as friendly, active, and playful! I have not spent time around other dogs or cats so it is best if I am the only animal in the home. I have been around kids of all ages my entire life and do great with them! I am house trained and most recently learned doggy door training! I am not crate trained so I will need assistance with that in my new home if it is required. I have not had any special training but wear a beep shock collar and respond well to the beep if needed. At night I sleep on the couch or in the bed with the humans and if the humans must be away and I am left alone, I am just fine! When outside I have good behavior and do not jump fences/gates. I am scared of thunder and gunshots, do not like the heat, but love riding in the car, fluffy squeaky toys, being outside, going for walks, and going on adventures! I am used to being in the country so a big backyard is prefered! If you think I would make a great addition to your family, contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you! ##2457185##

Story
6/25/2025 Diesel VII is an owner surrender looking for a new home. Hi! My name is Diesel VII ! I am a handsome 9 year old flashy brindle boy that is an owner surrender due to people moving into my home and my owner unable to financially care for me. I am described as smart, calm, protective, playful, affectionate, and obedient! I like to be the protector when at home but do well with strangers when being boarded or being watched by friends! I prefer people to ask my owner to touch me because I do not like strangers coming up to touch me without notice. I do not like to be poked at or bothered, so it would be best if I am in a home with no kids so I can relax. It is said that I am dog friendly and have had exposure to a shitzu, lab, and rottweiler with no issues. I have only seen cats from a distance and show signs of wanting to chase them so a cat free home would be best! I am house trained, crate trained, know basic commands, and at night I sleep in my crate in the living room but have slept on a dog bed before. If the humans must be away, I don't like to be alone but remain calm in my crate and wait for the humans to come back. When outside I do not attempt to jump fences/gates but I am curious what is under the grass and will dig to find out. I am scared of fireworks and do not like vacuums or being brushed with deshedding brushes. Some of my favorite things are playing tug of war, playing fetch, chewing bones, laying near the humans, and rough house play when the human initiates it! My current owner says I am a "sweet dog once you get to know me" and "once I realize you're taking care of me, I will show you love, loyalty, and protection"! If you think I would make a great addition to your family, contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you! ##2437095##

Story
Meet Marco! He’s a very sweet boy, I’m not sure what breed he is exactly but my family and I were thinking at least pitbull. I adopted him from Safe in Austin rescue ranch in December 2024. Due to relocation, a busy schedule, and low funds, I’m searching for a new loving home for him. Age/Size: 1 year old, about 76lbs Temperament: Very sweet, smart, playful, and not aggressive. Good with: Kids, other dogs, and cats, he’s not aggressive but he is very playful so supervision is advised. Challenges: He has lots of energy and can be very jumpy when excited. He also gets anxious when alone, and tends to chew, even with toys available. Other Notes: Marco is recently neutered, and up to date on his shots. He often eats too quickly so a slow feeder is advised.

Story
Meet my 11-month-old American Bully pup, a sweet, goofy, high-energy boy who’s looking for the right home. I got him as a puppy right after surgery, and I’ve realized I didn’t have the time or capacity to train him the way he needs. He loves playing, swimming, bones, chasing balls and being active. He really tries to please, but he needs a yard, structure, and someone experienced with strong, energetic breeds. He recently got into a conflict with my senior dog, and for everyone’s safety, I know he’ll do best as the only dog or with someone skilled in managing multi-dog homes. He’s not aggressive — just young, powerful, and needing guidance. This is a really hard decision, but he deserves a home where he can thrive. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun, affectionate companion, I’d love to talk.

Story
With a sad heart we must rehome our beautiful, sweet girl Maya. She was extremely sweet and had a good relationship with our other dogs for the first two years of her life. Unfortunately, she and our other dogs stopped getting along and have gotten in multiple fights. It is no longer safe to have them around each other. She needs to be in a home with no other dogs. She gets along well with our cats and has never snapped at them; she has also been around small children for the first year of her life that she never had any issues with. She has only ever had issues with other dogs. However, to be on the safe side we recommend a home with no small children or cats. Maya is 2 years old, she is a Labrador Pitbull mix, she is spayed, chipped, crate trained and is around 55 pounds. She is extremely sweet and loving, she loves to play, and she is extremely cuddly (will try to lay in your lap like a cat). She is talkative and energetic. She will keep you laughing and full of joy.
