Buster was found running down the road. We found out that he was adopted from a shelter, but the lady couldn't keep him, so she gave him away and apparently, they didn't want him either. He's a good boy just looking for his forever family. He is 5 months old and gets along with everyone. Meet Santa's Dasher! - Dasher is about 16 weeks old and weighs about 28 lbs. We have no idea on the breed mixes of mom or dad, but our best guess is a boxer/terrier/hound mix (Just a Guess). Dasher is a sweet and happy puppy who loves to play with other dogs. He will require another young and playful dog in his forever home. Dasher spends his days wrestling with this brother, Prancer and all the resident dogs in his foster home. He also loves to play with his doggie toys. Dasher is working on his house and crate training and doing a great job! Because he is a puppy, he will require an adopter who is home a good portion of the day to continue his/her training—no exceptions. Dasher is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped and will need to be neutered at 6 months of age. The Adoption Fee for this puppy $400.00 plus a $100.00 spay/neuter refundable deposit. ***Please note, this pup's immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age and therefore, s/he is not suited for Apartment/Condo living or Town homes without a private fenced yard and will not be able to go to public places where s/he could possibly be exposed to the germs of unvaccinated dogs, such as PetSmart/PetCo and dog parks until s/he is 16 weeks old*** ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue*** The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. Meet Angel - Angel is about 8-9 years young and 45 pounds. Angel looks like a Boxer/Bulldog/Terrier Mix (JUST A GUESS). Angel is the sweetest girl ever. Such a loving, calm and gentle soul who did not have the best life before coming to Canines & Kitties Rescue. Angel has overcome all the years of neglect and that caused her to have skin and eye infections. Her skin and eye infections are now fully cleared and her fur has grown back beautifully and she can see the world with those soulful brown eyes. Angel is now ready for her forever home. While we were able to fix the "superficial" things such as getting her skin back to normal and clearing her eye infections, we could not fix her knees. We had Angel's knees evaluated by one of the top orthopedic surgeons in the area and he said she was born with her knees not being in the sockets. She has never known any difference and she is not in any pain. She just has reduced mobility, which she is not at all bothered by. Angel loves to take slow strolls around the neighborhood and in her foster mom's backyard. She is able to sit down, lay down and get back up with no issue. She just walks at a slower pace than most dogs her age. Angel is great with other dogs and people of all ages. Angel is looking for a forever home where she can receive all the love and attention she deserves and a fenced in yard where she can walk around and sniff and lay in the sun as these are her two most favorite things to do:) Angel is spayed and she is up to date on vaccines and microchipped. I’m an 8-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Boxer mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for my people. My life was turned upside down when my old family left me at a high-intake shelter, but my foster mom helped me heal, feel safe again, and remember what it’s like to be loved. Now I’m ready to find a forever family who won’t ever give up on me. I’m a polite girl with great house manners — I only chew on my toys (never shoes!), and I absolutely love squeaky toys and cozy donut beds.
