Story
Cinder is a 9 year old boxer mix I rescued about 7 years ago from a a very traumatic past. With me, she spends her days resting but loves to roam around the yard when the weather permits. Her ideal day is to relax and be loved, and she is lovable. She is not much of a barker although barks for someone at the door from time to time. She is fully house broken and up to date with vaccinations. She is crate trained although doesn’t need one, she listens when sent to her bed. She is timid but feels very comfortable removing herself from anything she’s not comfortable with. If I am cleaning or rearranging, she goes to a quiet place. We don’t walk as the yard is fenced in. She does fine on a leash but will gently pull from time to time. She is about as low maintenance as a dog can be and would do great in a quiet environment. I will be travelling abroad extensively in the years to come and would rather find her a new loving home than have a lot of people tending to her in my absence.

Story
Location: Wake Forest, NCCome meet Maggie at Heritage Animal Hospital; upon arrival she will shake your hand, give you a sweet hug or provide you some much needed slobbery kisses. Once the initial introductions are completed, a good ole belly rub will do the trick. Speaking of tricks, Maggie already knows things like SIT and STAY. Smart and sweet girl! She is well mannered and good protector. Look at that SMILE; She absolutely LOVES people! She does needs to be an only dog but that isn't a big thing. She gets along ok with those other furry friends called felines. So if you have a dog savvy cat, Maggie would like to meet you! She is a fun loving, roll in the grass, life of the party, cuddle bug girl who knows a good thing when she sees it! Her estimated age is 7 years old. So you know you skip all the craziness of puppyhood, like crate training, potty training, chewing on everything, and you get a the liviliness without all the puppy training. If interested in giving this girl a loving and happy home or want more info on Maggie, contact Heritage Animal Hospital at (919) 435-1978. She has been waiting with HAH for over two years and really wants to find a loving, caring and special family to call HER OWN. Currently she lives in a 6 by 3 ft run and needs some more engagement!March 1, 2024, 9:01 am

Story
When people think of Snow, they think cold. With this Snow, picture warmth, love, and cuddles. This five year old, just shy of fifty pound sweetheart is all about her people. She has bursts of play but is mainly a calm dog. She is all about being by her person and wanting the love. Now, for men, some she loves and some she has to take a minute to relax around.  Snow currently lives with an 80 pound male and a 23 pound female companion. She can be a sassy thing and wants what she wants - a tiny bit of a diva in there. She has met other playful dogs and done well. She also has hung out with another 100 pound male lab. Took her a second to realize he was a lover not a fighter but they are now fast friends. Snow needs a six foot privacy fence for her backyard space. Now who wants Snow to be your cuddle buddy for many years to come! If you are interested in adopting Snow, please fill out an application today!March 1, 2024, 9:01 am

Story
This sweet gal sure can bring a smile to anyone’s face. With her goofy boxer wiggles and her little nubbin that goes super fast when she sees people. She still has some boxer spunk to her. She loves a good romp with her fur friends or the kids and then she will just snuggle right up and chill. She has done great with her fellow puppers from the super hyper to the old and grumpy to the tiny and snappy. She has been around a toddler and older children and seems to enjoy being around them. She is crate trained with no accidents in the house. Working on basics and leash manners. Don't let this old gals grey face fool you. She still has a lot of love, snuggles and romps in the sun to give. She really is a gem!  If you are interested in adopting Clarabell, please fill out an application today!March 1, 2024, 9:01 am

Story
Bella (aka Zeva) was surrendered to a local shelter after her family was unable to keep up with her energy level. Since transitioning into foster, we’ve learned that she’s super dog friendly, house/crate trained, knows a handful of basic commands, and walks nicely on a leash with the help of a gentle leader. Bella, like any young working breed, has lots of energy to burn. She would love another active dog friend and/or kids to play with. She’s going to make a nice addition to any active family. Bella has been spayed, heartworm tested, microchipped, and is UTD on vaccines. She will come with 30 days of pet insurance and 6m of oral Heartworm prevention for her new family.
