**Oscar is not in the direct care of Happy Tails Happy Homes. His current owners are needing to rehome him at no fault of his own. If you are interested in Oscar, please fill out an application https://www.happytailshappyhomes.org/adoptionform ** Meet Oscar – The Snuggly, Goofy Boxer Looking for His Forever Couch! 🐾 Located in Bellingham, WA We never thought we’d be writing this, but life threw us a curveball (an 11th-hour surprise baby!) and Oscar, our affectionate, wiggly-butt best friend, is not a fan of kids. So, with very heavy hearts, we’re looking for the perfect family for him. A big bonus if that family is local and we could occasionally see him. ✨ About Oscar: 5.5-year-old male Boxer Neutered, vaccinated, healthy, and always on heartworm/flea/tick prevention Happy, full of that waggly boxer personality, likes long walks on the beach and snuggles, tug-o-war is his jam Recently graduated from an 8-week board & train program at K9 Handler Dynamics in Lynden, WA - who will provide Oscar's new family with a hands-on lesson to help Oscar continue his good behaviors. Dog-reactive but successfully passes other dogs on walks without causing drama if you use his e-collar judiciously. 🏡 Oscar’s Ideal Home: Adults only (kids are scary, unpredictable monsters in his book) No other dogs (he likes being the star of the show). Probably no cats… unless you want to see him try out for the squirrel-chasing Olympics ✅ Why Oscar Rocks: Fantastic manners include: sit, down, “place,” drop-it, walks nicely on a leash, and waits for permission to eat food and exit doors like a gentleman Stays off furniture unless invited up (he’s polite like that!) Loves daily walks but will then chill at home while you’re out adulting Crate trained: It's his happy place! Not a chewer or destructive in any way. Greets guests with a waggly butt when given the OK Not an incessant barker - may alert you when someone is at the front door, if he's not sleeping! Comes with allll his stuff including crate, many toys, dishes, multiple beds, winter coat, life jacket, long and short leashes, etc. Oscar is goofy, loyal, and will make you laugh and love every single day. If you’re looking for a well-trained, affectionate companion who thinks squirrels are arch-nemeses, Oscar might just be your guy.

**Adoption visits are by appointment only** If you see an animal you`re interested in, fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website https://everettwa.gov/161/Adopt-a-PetMeet Bounty, a resilient 60-pound female Boxer/Staffy mix who is currently looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home. Bounty has had a rough start in life, and while she’s made great strides since arriving at the shelter, she’s still on her journey of healing—both physically and emotionally. Despite her past, she’s shown a gentle, soulful side and is learning to trust again. Bounty does well with calm, respectful dogs and would likely thrive with a social male companion who can help her feel secure. She tends to get overwhelmed by young, high-energy dogs and prefers a more peaceful environment. Bounty is looking for a patient, loving home where she can continue to decompress and feel safe. With time, care, and kindness, she’s sure to blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a dog who truly deserves a second chance, Bounty could be the one.

I'm gonna make you an wo-offer you can't refuse. That's Pacino's favorite phrase. The adoption deal is simple: a roof over his head, a cold dish of water, daily meals and treats, plus an abundance of love. What? It's a good deal! Pacino, now over a year old, has become a true Dogfather. He is well-behaved, happy-go lucky, is very handsome, and has a wonderful, playful nature; he fits seamlessly into any family. His lineage boasts a long line of Dog-Father's, tough dogs out in the world whose business is their own. But, they are loyal, loving and strong characters to have around you.. He's a potty-trained and crate-trained gentleman, but he still has a penchant for chewing. He adores treats and toys, but can go through them quickly. Proper and slow introductions to other dogs are essential. Pacino would thrive best with older kids. Join the legacy and give Pacino the family he deserves. After all, a dog like him is an offer you can't refuse. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Hi, I’m George (Georgie)!🐶✨ Full-time good boy. Part-time toddler wrangler. I’m a professional napper, expert snack detector, and self-appointed neighborhood squirrel patrol. I live with my 2.5-year-old foster human—he’s sticky, loud, and a little clumsy, but I love him. We’re best friends. I help him eat things he drops (on purpose, I swear), and he helps me sneak onto the furniture. It’s a beautiful partnership. My hobbies include: 🦴 Chewing things that were definitely not meant for chewing 🚨 Barking at absolutely nothing 💤 Dramatic flops in high-traffic areas 💖 Following my tiny human like a shadow with a tail I take my job as emotional support floof very seriously. If you sit down, I will sit on you. If you’re eating, I will stare into your soul. And if you ask “Who’s a good boy?”—spoiler alert: it’s me. Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Hi, I'm Mr. Lavender! Yes, I know—Lavender is a fancy name. I’m basically a four-legged scented candle. But don’t let the name fool you... I’m 100% boy, 100% chaos, and 1000% lovable. I’m a sweet, floppy goof who lives for three things: food, stuffies, and turbo zoomies. You got a snack? I’m there. You drop a crumb? I saw it before it hit the ground. I take my job as kitchen assistant very seriously—I’m my foster mom’s shadow, sous-chef, and quality control expert (taste-testing strongly encouraged). When I’m not helping in the kitchen, I’m cuddling my stuffies like a big ol’ baby. I bring them everywhere. Bed? Stuffies. Couch? Stuffies. Bathroom trip you didn’t invite me on? Don’t worry, I brought a stuffy and I'm standing outside the door. I love people, I love fun, and I love you already—and we just met! Story
Jill was found in a ditch on the side of a country road with her brother Jack. While she can be a little shy at first, she’s quickly gaining confidence and starting to shine. Jill is great with other dogs, cats, and kids, making her a wonderful fit for just about any family. She’s still learning how to walk on a leash, but her playful, high-energy personality really comes alive in the yard—she loves to pounce, toss sticks in the air, chase balls, and wrestle with her doggy friends. Jill is a sweet, spirited girl who just needs a little love and patience to fully bloom. She’s ready for her forever home—could that be with you?
