I'm gonna make you an wo-offer you can't refuse. That's Pacino's favorite phrase. The adoption deal is simple: a roof over his head, a cold dish of water, daily meals and treats, plus an abundance of love. What? It's a good deal! Pacino, now over a year old, has become a true Dogfather. He is well-behaved, happy-go lucky, is very handsome, and has a wonderful, playful nature; he fits seamlessly into any family. His lineage boasts a long line of Dog-Father's, tough dogs out in the world whose business is their own. But, they are loyal, loving and strong characters to have around you.. He's a potty-trained and crate-trained gentleman, but he still has a penchant for chewing. He adores treats and toys, but can go through them quickly. Proper and slow introductions to other dogs are essential. Pacino would thrive best with older kids. Join the legacy and give Pacino the family he deserves. After all, a dog like him is an offer you can't refuse. Story
Jill’s story started in a ditch alongside her brother when she was just a tiny puppy. Despite such a rough beginning, this sweet girl has held onto her gentle heart. Jill is shy and a little nervous when meeting new people. At adoption events, when things feel overwhelming, she’ll simply curl up and go to sleep — her quiet way of coping with the big world around her. Because of this tender, cautious nature, she’s now over a year old and still waiting for someone to see the beautiful soul she truly is. But give Jill just a little time, patience, and kindness, and you’ll discover her real personality. 🌟 She blossoms into a happy, playful girl who loves zoomies in the yard, a good game of fetch, and romping around with other dogs. Once she feels safe, her nubby wags freely and her playful spirit shines. Jill doesn’t need much — just a calm, loving home willing to let her warm up at her own pace. In return, you’ll get the sweetest, most loyal companion who will quietly choose you as her person. Could you be the one to give Jill the safe forever she’s been waiting for? Story
Hi, I’m Mr. Lavender.🪻 Yes, like the flower. Soft, gentle, and emotionally complex. I’m what you’d call a very sensitive soul. I feel things deeply. For example, if I ever get scolded—even just a tiny “no, Lavender”—I will slowly and quietly walk to my crate to process the heartbreak. I’ll curl up, sigh dramatically, and reflect on how I have disappointed everyone I love. It’s a whole moment. But the good news is, I’m very forgiving. All it takes is a soft voice and gentle pets, and suddenly I remember that life is beautiful again. And speaking of pets… once you start petting me, you cannot stop. I will gently place myself closer. And closer. And closer. If you stop, I will politely remind you with my eyes. If that doesn’t work, I will lean my entire body into you like a weighted blanket with feelings. Physical affection is my love language, my hobby, my life. Cuddling is one of my greatest talents. I don’t just cuddle—I commit to cuddling. I will curl into you, rest my head on you, and stay there like it’s my full-time job. Personal space? Never heard of it. If you move, I move. If you sit, I sit. If you exist, I’m next to you. I also love people-watching. Give me a window, and I will sit there peacefully, observing the neighborhood like a quiet little philosopher. I don’t bark or judge—I just observe and think my gentle thoughts. Loud noises, however, are not my favorite. I prefer calm homes, soft voices, and peaceful environments where I can relax and feel safe. I’m not into chaos. I’m into comfort, love, and cozy vibes. I’m wonderful with kids and other dogs. I’m gentle, patient, and kind. I don’t want any trouble—I just want friends and a place where I belong. I have a very sweet heart, and once I trust you, I will love you with everything I have. I’m not the loudest or boldest dog. I’m the soft one. The gentle one. The one who will quietly sit beside you and make everything feel calm and warm. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend, a professional cuddler, and a sweet soul who just wants to love and be loved… I’m the one. Bobbi was given to us from people who were going to dump him. We rescued him to rehome him. He’s good with our 4 cats and 3 other dogs. He’s good with my 2 small children and baby grandson. Seems to be good outside on walks. Wasn’t house trained when we got him but he’s working on it. Doing really good now. He’s a lover and needs affection. Likes sleeping at your feet and in your room with you at night. Not one ounce of aggression seen from him when new people come around. He’s defiantly a beautiful soul.

Story
Captain here, looking for a dog to lead the way? Consider me! I am loyal, goofy, and lots of fun! I can be nervous until we know each other better, but if you lived on the cold/hot hard streets you may be a little wary with new people too. Now, my time at the rescue has really really improved my life and I am SO MUCH more social and outgoing! I am a big, beautiful reddish-tan Pittie/Labrador mix with a white racing stripe down the middle of my chest! Our small canine family came to God's Dogs Rescue in a pickle, a rag tag group of Labradors and one pregnant female! We came to this safe haven with just 3 dogs and now we're a whole lot more! But all of us are now spayed and neutered and READY for furever families who won't leave us to run the streets and starve, we actually have gotten a little chunky, lol and REALLY HAPPY!! As Captain, I'll ensure that you are properly lead and motivated to get your day to day life moving! Well, that's because I need daily walks but besides the point! Some basic information about Captain; he is male, Pitbull/Labrador Retriever mix, and is medium/large-sized boy, at about 60#.
