You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet our sweet boy Sherman. He is a senior dog with a gentle soul that enjoys being around his people. Sherman likes to play for a short time. He would do best in a home with an older dog that is as relaxed as him. He does pick the dogs he is most comfortable around and he definitely wouldn't enjoy an energetic puppy. If you are interested in meeting Sherman, the first step is to go to our website www.adoggie4you.org and complete an application for him.  This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cin c innati, Lexington KY,     or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225   . We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 10, 2024, 5:57 pm

I'd make the ideal companion for a family that loves to keep moving! Do you enjoy running, hiking, camping, boating, or any adventure under the sun? Well, guess what? I'm gonna make you an wo-offer you can't refuse. That's Pacino's favorite phrase. The adoption deal is simple: a roof over his head, a cold dish of water, daily meals and treats, plus an abundance of love. What? It's a good deal! Pacino, now over a year old, has become a true Dogfather. He is well-behaved, happy-go lucky, is very handsome, and has a wonderful, playful nature; he fits seamlessly into any family. His lineage boasts a long line of Dog-Father's, tough dogs out in the world whose business is their own. But, they are loyal, loving and strong characters to have around you.. He's a potty-trained and crate-trained gentleman, but he still has a penchant for chewing. He adores treats and toys, but can go through them quickly. Proper and slow introductions to other dogs are essential. Pacino would thrive best with older kids. Join the legacy and give Pacino the family he deserves. After all, a dog like him is an offer you can't refuse. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Hi there, I'm Precious. They say that I am called this because I am the most precious dog here at God's Dogs Rescue. I came to the rescue in October of 2022 to have a safe place for me to have and raise my puppies. All my puppies were adopted by the end of January 2023, but I am still here looking for my furever home. I am a bigger girl, but this just means there is more of me to cuddle you, because I love cuddling it's one of my top 3 favorite things. 1) Food- I love food and will do almost anything you ask if you have a treat involved. 2) Cuddles- on your lap, on the couch, in the bed wherever there is a comfy space with pillows or a human I want to be there. 3) Kisses- I have a love of giving kisses to people, especially kids. Although not everyone likes it when I try to kiss them and that makes me sad. 4) Honorable mention- I like going on walks or in the car for a ride, although I prefer just lazing around at home. My current fosters say that I am a "house hippo with springs in my feet whatever that means; I just know sometimes, when I get super happy, I feel like I could fly- or jump really high. I love their kids and am very good with them even the tiny ones. I get along with most other dogs I meet, although I have a big personality about me, because I'm a boss, so sometimes other dogs don't like that about me. I tolerate cats although if they give me too much attitude or growl at me, I can't help but to give them piece of my mind. I like most new people I meet although I had a rough start in life so sometimes, I can be a little wary with men, with time though I adjust, and we can become best friends forever. A few more little details about me: I am 3 years old I am a Boxer/Shepherd mix I am great with kids I am good with Cats and Dogs I am crate-trained I am housebroken I can be adopted in Texas or anywhere in the US too! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Meet Carley, This lovable dog wandered into a couple's yard and they brought her to the vet to get scanned. Unfortunately, her original owner never came forward to claim her. Now, Hartley is looking for her forever family to adopt her and bring her home! Carley is a boxer/pitbull mix so she'll need lots of playtime to keep her healthy and happy. She is a wonderful companion dog- just wants to be with her person. She is playful but still pretty laid back- for a boxer :) She has the boxer smushed face as well as the pittie markings. She sure deserves the family who will love and cherish her. She would love that!!! Story
Are you ready to fall in love? Meet Sweet Pea! This goofy girl is full of personality! She is a 6 year old Pit Bull mix that weighs 54lbs and is ready to leave paw prints on your heart! Sweet Pea is currently being fostered in Tacoma, Washington and would love to meet you! Sweet Pea had a rough start to life, she was found on the streets eating garbage on the side of the road. Sweet Pea was covered in motor oil, which her previous owners likely assumed would cure her sarcoptic mange and unfortunately, this home remedy caused more harm than good. Sweet Pea had a raging skin infection that affected her eyes, ears and caused permanent scarring to her skin. We also quickly discovered she had heartworms. Luckily, Sweet Pea was rescued and taken into a loving foster home that helped her heal into the gorgeous, goofy girl she is today! Sweet Pea is as sweet as her name implies! This goofy hippo is a happy go lucky girl who just wants to snuggle with her humans! SweetPea has never met a stranger, she loves everyone she meets and loves to mother the kiddos in her nanny dog way. SweetPea is a great mix of energetic and playful but will gladly crash out on the couch with you for snuggles. This girl absolutely LOVES to give kisses, so it's imperative that you indulge her once and a while! She is medium energy, with short bursts of playfulness followed by epic naps and snuggle time. She loves to sleep in bed, although she is a bed hog and steals the covers. SweetPea loves car rides, puppy lattes, meeting new people, long walks on the beach and has recently discovered that she loves the snow! She would make an excellent adventure buddy! This sassy girl is diva at times and does best with other non-reactive, playful dogs. SweetPea can get overwhelmed around multiple dogs and would do best in a home with a mellow dog buddy, or as on only dog where she can soak up all of your attention. House trained, kennel trained and excellent on a leash, SweetPea is a well mannered girl who always wants to learn. She is very food motivated and was also clicker trained by her foster mom. SweetPea loves enrichment toys, such as a Kong and nylabone. She loves any kind of toy and will keep herself busy for hours taking the toys in and out of the toy bin! SweetPea is a healthy happy girl, although she does need medicated baths once a month. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and fully vaccinated.

Story
Introducing Dottie, a delightful 2-year-old pocket pittie with a playful personality, one bright blue eye, and an adorable pittie smile. Dottie is currently in foster care in the greater Seattle area and is eager to meet potential adopters. If you think she might be the perfect fit for your family, please fill out an application at https://www.doggedly.org/adoption-app. Dottie's journey began when a kind-hearted individual found her wandering the streets of Texas. She was taken in by Doggedly and later placed in a foster home in Houston, where she blossomed. Now, Dottie is excited to find her forever home in the Pacific Northwest. This high-energy pup loves to run and play, making her an ideal match for an active person that enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, daily walks, and adventures. Dottie is a lot of fun and particularly enjoys cooling off on hot days with a hose. She's also a big fan of snuggling and would love to cuddle up with her human in bed or relax on the couch with a bone. Additionally, Dottie has a curious nature and loves exploring, so having a secure yard with durable fencing is essential. Dottie is an intelligent girl and loves to self-soothe with a chew toy and a soft bed. She loves to chew, which is an essential part of her daily self care ritual. Dottie also loves a structured daily routine that keeps her mentally engaged. This super smart girl knows when it's time to go on walks and have breakfast, and will gladly be your puppy alarm clock to break up the monotony of your day! Once she gets her exercise, Dottie loves to chill. She would love to share your bed or take over your couch, but she is also kennel trained. In a previous foster home, Dottie thrived alongside two small dogs, kids, and a senior cat. Dottie does well with other dogs with proper introductions once she expends her energy, and is eager to make friends. She is an athletic dog and does have a drive and loves to chase or run. She would thrive in a home with an active, but laidback male companion, but would also love to be an only dog. Due to her compact size, she would also do well in an apartment with daily walks throughout the day. Dottie is strong but is great on a leash. She enjoys her walks and is harness trained. What are you waiting for? Snatch up the dog of your dreams today! Dottie is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to steal your heart!
