Chance was brought to us on quarantine hold. His owners were being arrested for child neglect and drug charges. During all the excitement of the cops in the home arresting, he grabbed one of the officer's legs. It was very scary for him, so we understand his accident. He has passed his 10 day hold but his owners have not come for him. Chance is actually a very good dog. Such a happy fella and loves to play ball. House trained and never has an accident. He is shy at first, but he warms right up. He will be neutered soon.

I’m Baura — Hindi for “Blossom,” because I’ve truly blossomed during my time here at the shelter! 🌸 I’m a sweet, affectionate girl who would make a wonderful companion for an adult family looking for a loyal best friend. I love playtime, enjoy nice walks and hikes! I’m always excited to spend time with my people. The amazing staff and volunteers at the Humane Society have been helping me learn my basic training skills and teaching me how to be patient with my toys — and I’m doing fantastic! I’m a smart cookie who loves to learn, so I’d be thrilled to keep practicing new tricks and manners with my future family. I hope you’ll schedule a day to come meet me. I have a feeling you’ll fall in love with my bright personality… and maybe even my adorably floppy forward facing ears that make everyone smile!
