Story
Our pets are fostered and physically located in North Carolina until adopted. We can transport to your location or any of our delivery locations once you adopt. We have a very affordable transporter who goes north every other week. Cosmo is a boxer mix. He was born 12-19-22. He is super affectionate and very loving. He absolutely wonderful with people. He would be best in a home with no other dogs. If not he would be great with a larger breed female. He is very smart and attentive. He has been started on crate training and potty training. He will go to his new home neutered, current on vaccinations, deworming, preventives. He will be micro-chipped. He will receive a complete physical and a certificate of health issued by our vet prior to going home. The adopter will get all the health records with adoption. We require a prescreen application to adopt. You can get that one the website at www.saveamuttkennel.net .

We have a cost effective transporter who runs every other week. This sweetie was born 12-1-22. She is a boxer mix. She is a bit shy until she gets to know you. However, she warms up fast. She likes everyone and is good with kids. She does well with other dogs but she does not like cats. She is potty trained and crate trained. She really is the sweetest humble soul ever! This pup is current in all age appropriate vaccines, preventives, heartworm tested and on prevention and microchipped. Story
We have a special boy to introduce to the families and couples out there wanting a truly special older pup that is totally trained and waiting to love you to pieces. True Blue Toby is a 10 month old Boxer mix puppy that was found as a stray and not in the best shape.  In fact he looked terrible and we felt so bad for this boy to have suffered for so many months.  Once he came to our care we got to work on clearing up hair loss and getting him healthy from those pesky intestinal worms and putting good weight on him.  Gosh Toby is the best boy with a wonderful personality that embraces everyone with love and the anticipation to become steadfast friends.  Shy at first, this boy has blossomed and is Mr. Outgoing in every way.  He just wants to hang out with his humans and love them with full gratitude for making him such a healthy boy.  Housebroken, crate trained and wonderful with other dogs and cats, he is the truly total package if you are looking for a medium sized dog.  He is going to be a 50 pound adult and what a handsome Boxer mix boy he is turning in to.   Email us at Critter Cavalry Rescue :   ccrnewengland@gmail.com   We know will be glad you considered this boy as your very own. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 10, 2024, 9:46 pm

Story
Sweet Rosie girl was found as a stray. The woman who found her tried desperately to find her owner but to no avail. We believe she was dumped, as it is very common here in the south. The woman brought her here to the rescue and she is doing extremely well with all the dogs and puppies and even like the cats and the children who visit. We believe she is approximately 5 months. She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and she is also crate trained. She is full of energy and would do very well with a house full of kids! She appears to be a Boxer/Hound mix of some sort, pretty much a Super Mutt! Wouldn't you love to add her to your family? She will be ready for transport by the middle of May PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE $650

Story
Gypsy is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so she is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home. Gypsy is a very good girl and is the most obedient dog I have ever seen. She knows how to sit and comes when called. She is housetrained and very well behaved in the house. She likes her crate and sleeps in it with the door open. She walks well on a leash and rides well in a vehicle. Gypsy loves her toys, especially squeaky ones, and she loves playing fetch. Gypsy is active - she loves to run and play with toys and other dogs. She loves water and lays in the wading pool when it is hot, and we bet she would love snow. She gets excited about squirrels, cats, and critters on the other side of the fence. Gypsy does well with all dogs but gets along best with male dogs. She is normally good around small dogs but occasionally mistakes one for a toy when she is over-excited. So she is not recommended for homes with small dogs. She is not too fond of puppies getting in her face either. Gypsy loves human attention and is good with children. She could perhaps use more obedience training with someone firm, patient, and loving. Gypsy is very sweet. She gets attached to her human and likes to lay under my desk when I work on the computer. Gypsy walks well on a leash and rides well in the car. She must be in the house as a loved family member, and she needs a yard with a 6' fence to run and play. Gypsy came from a bad home. She was not being fed and was severely underweight. So the people surrendered Gypsy and her puppies to animal control to avoid animal cruelty charges. Gypsys DNA test results are mostly Boxer, Husky, and German Shepherd. She bounces on her front legs when she is excited and we now know that comes from the Boxer in her. Gypsy is around 5 years of age and weighs 70 pounds (she only weighed 35 pounds when we got her). Gypsy is healthy. She is spayed, tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. Gypsy had a light case of heartworms when we first got her. We used the slow-kill method (we are happy to explain this) and she is now negative for heartworms and on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Gypsy's adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport to Hagerstown or Linthicum Heights MD. She is located in Texas and cannot be transported until after she is adopted.
