Story
🐾 Sarabi is NOW AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! 🐾 Meet Sarabi — her name means “mirage or illusion” in Swahili… but trust us, this girl is very real — and very special. 💛 Sarabi is a 4-year-old Boxer (mostly, if not all!) with a gorgeous brindle coat and a big, expressive face that always looks like she’s either asking a question or pondering life’s mysteries. She weighs about 70 lbs and somehow believes she’s lap-sized — especially when kids are involved. ✨ Why we love Sarabi: • Dog-friendly with proper introductions • Cat-compatible with slow, respectful intros • Doesn't mind kids and people of all kinds (just a little unaware of her size) • Fully housebroken and crate-trained • Up to date on vaccines and monthly preventatives Sarabi is a low-key, couch-loving girl who prefers lounging over long adventures. Her ideal home doesn’t need to be overly active. She’s happiest stretching out on the couch, rolling around, occasionally falling off, and hopping right back up to do it all again (it’s as funny as it sounds). She’s a strong, robust girl and still polishing her leash manners, something we’re actively working on. She has a sensitive stomach and does best with a slow-feeder bowl. Like many Boxers, she will also benefit from daily joint supplements to support her long-term mobility and comfort. 🧸 Personality quirks (aka part of her charm): Sarabi loves to chew and toss around stuffies, beds, pillows, and clothes — but she doesn’t ingest anything. She just enjoys the drama of it all. She’s not much of a barker and is endlessly entertaining, often acting like the world is brand new to her… maybe it is. 🛁 Grooming needs: Simple and easy: brushing about once a week and the occasional bath. Sarabi is truly an easy keeper, full of love, laughs, and gentle affection. She’s waited long enough for a family to call her own and she’s ready to give her whole heart to the right one. 💛 Adopt Sarabi: 👉 https://linktr.ee/uudogrescue If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, soulful Boxer to complete your home Sarabi just might be your girl.

Story
Dino is a playful, energetic pup who loves his toys and thrives around other dogs who can match his enthusiasm for fun. He enjoys playtime and would do best with canine friends who appreciate his lively spirit. While he is full of energy, he also benefits from a family who can help build his confidence and gently guide him as he continues growing into himself.Dino has a sweet, snuggly side and he absolutely loves to cuddle after he has had some playtime. He is a wonderful walking companion, does great on leash, and enjoys his daily strolls. He already knows sit and lay down, and he is eager to keep learning. With continued training, structure, and positive reinforcement, this smart boy is sure to thrive.Dino can be a bit nervous sometimes when meeting new people, but with patience and gentle introductions he warms up beautifully and becomes incredibly affectionate. Once he feels safe, his loving personality really shines. Dino has some experience with children and seems to enjoy them, especially when they are respectful and understand he is still a young, energetic pup. He has not lived with cats before, but he has shown playful curiosity around them, so slow and thoughtful introductions would be important.Dino has a condition called psychogenic polydipsia, which means he tends to drink more water than necessary due to habit or anxiety rather than a medical issue. He’s been fully evaluated by a vet and is otherwise healthy. He does need his water intake monitored to make sure he doesn’t overdo it, but with a consistent routine and supervision, he does great. He’s a happy, loving boy who just needs a little help pacing himself at the water bowl. If you are looking for a playful, affectionate companion who will grow alongside you with a little patience and a lot of love, apply to adopt Dino on our website! Please note: - Our website (www.neenahanimalshelter.org) is updated in real time, so we are accepting applications for all animals that are currently listed. - Applications can be downloaded from our website. (http://neenahanimalshelter.org/how-to-adopt.html) - Our shelter has open visiting hours for cats, however pre-approved application are needed prior to an adoption. Appointments may be scheduled with an approved application as well, otherwise we may not be able to accommodate same day adoptions. - Approved applications are required prior to meeting any of our dogs.**Kittens are required

Story
Meet Rex! Rex is a smart, affectionate pup who absolutely loves being around people. He’s not a fan of spending time alone in his kennel or room, he’d much rather be by your side, soaking up attention and pets. He’s also house-trained and will let you know when it’s time to go out… just don’t make him wait too long, or you might hear his impressive vocal range the care team jokingly calls it “Mariah Carey high notes”. Rex has a sensitive side and isn't too keen on loud noises like thunderstorms, engine sounds, or power tools. When something startles him, he may react by moving toward it, so he’ll do best in a calm, predictable environment. While he can be a little particular, like hesitating to go into his room, some gentle reassurance and praise usually do the trick. He’s highly treat-motivated and currently enjoys his lickimats and Beggin’ Strips. Sweet, quirky, and full of personality, Rex also has one of the best smiles around. He’s ready to bring joy (and maybe a few high notes) into your life!

Story
My Daughters boyfriend found him in Milwaukee around Nov 2025 . He brought him to fond du lac against my daughter wishes and she was pregnant with her third child and does not have room for a dog. She is an animal lover but he is too big for her little house. Since they did not turn him in as a stray to the Milwaukee Humane Society right away. Scooby is now theirs. We did check Milwaukee Humane Society if any one was looking for him. No one was. He is not chipped. The boyfriend did bring him to the vet and got shot. He is about 1yr and a half. Scooby is a very good boy. Strong young man . I have him at my house but he does not like cats. My cats are not happy. He cases them. He is very friendly and love being around me. He does not run away when I let him out with out a lease. He loves to play and Ice cubes. He is so cute when he plays with them.

Story
🌟 Meet Morris: Three legs, 1 giant head, and unlimited snuggles🌟 🌟 Name: Morris (formally Carnival at (MADACC)) 🎂 Age: 4 (ish) 🐶 Breed: Terrier mix 🥌 Weight: 65 lbs and gaining 💉 Vaccination Status: Morris is neutered, up to date on rabies, distemper, bordatella vaccines, heartworm testing & prevention ensuring his continued health and well-being. 🏡 Ideal Home: Morris is seeking a home with toys to chew and a couch to snuggle on. He is a medium energy boy who loves his walks (we are working on increasing his endurance after his amputation), enjoys playing fetch in the yard and a good roll in the grass. After a bit of exercise he is ready to snuggle- and he’s the best at it! He can almost be found with one of “emotional support” stuffed toys in his mouth- especially when he’s excited! 🐕 Compatibility: Morris gets along well his canine foster sister and enjoys playing tug and fetch. He does hog the human snuggles from her, but she doesn’t mind. He also gets along well with children, but due to his size, we feel he would do best with older kids. Morris has a high prey drive, so he will need a home without cats. 👂 Special Needs: Due to Morris’ front leg amputation he will need to be on high quality joint supplements for life. Maintaining a healthy weight will be key to his mobility. ✂️ Grooming: He has the softest short coat with minimal grooming requirements. Just occasional brushing and a bath (which he does great with at home). 🐾 Training: Morris has an excellent start with his training. He is crate trained, potty trained, and knows basic commands such as “sit”, “down”, “off”, and even still gives “paw” despite only having 1 front leg! He is THE PERFECT DOG!
