Hi! Meet Peter. I adopted him from a Humane Society in Florida (where I previously lived) because no one else would due to his medical problems at the time (heartworms). He has since been fully treated and is completely healthy and energetic. Unfortunately, I do not have the time to take care of him. I changed jobs and states recently and the new job came with a very heavy schedule. Also, I will be re-enlisting in the Army Reserves soon and the training schedule that imposes on me will make it incredibly difficult to take care of him.Peter is very energetic, playfully, and happy and not aggressive in the slightest. He loves playing with his MANY toys, enjoys sleeping in his crate or in a bed with me, and is very well house trained. I've been forced to leave him home for 12+ hours multiple times and came home to no accidents whatsoever. If you want a happy, playful, fun-loving dog, this guy is the one for you!PS: He LOVES fetch

🐾 Meet Canyon 🐾 Canyon is a big, goofy, affectionate boy who loves his people. He enjoys running, playing, and then curling up for cuddles at the end of the day. A fenced yard would be ideal for this active guy who still loves a good zoomie session. Canyon has a chicken allergy but is doing well on foods containing salmon, beef, and bison. He is crate trained, knows several commands, and is a smart dog who continues to learn. Canyon is currently working on his leash manners and impulse control. He can be very strong when excited and is training with an e-collar to help reinforce his skills. Canyon currently lives with two cats and a small dog in his foster home and does well with them. However, he can be selective with unfamiliar dogs and will need proper introductions to any potential canine companions. Like many dogs, Canyon has a prey drive and will happily chase a rabbit or squirrel if given the opportunity, so a secure fenced yard and supervision outdoors are important. This sweet, happy, playful boy is looking for a family committed to continuing his training and helping him reach his full potential. In return, you’ll get a loyal companion who loves deeply, plays hard, and is always ready for an adventure—or a cuddle on the couch afterward. ❤️🐾
