Story
Adoptable 💙GUMBALL💙 is looking for her forever home! 🥰 GUMBALL was found as a stray in Georgia and soon found herself at the local animal shelter. She just made the trip up to Wisconsin on 11/16 and is doing really well in her foster home! 🐾 She is a silly, playful pup who loves other dogs and her people. She gets along with all the dogs she has met and does a good job matching energy to older dogs or younger puppies. She enjoys running around the yard, playing with toys, and going for walks with her foster family. She did great trick-or-treating with her foster family and was amazing with all the kids and commotion. She also gets along with cats. She is crate trained, working on potty training, good on the leash, and working on off-leash recall. She is not reactive over toys, treats, food, etc. She is just an overall good girly who would be great for someone looking for a medium ebergy dog! She is also quite petite for a terrier mix and is only around 30 lbs at 7 months old. If you are interested in adopting, please check out our website and fill out an application: www.muttlife.org

Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!Updated: 11/17/24 Dog Name: Peter Sex: Male Neuter Status: Neutered Estimated Breed Mix: Boxer Mix Approximate Age: 1.5 Years Approximate Weight: 56 lbs Adoption Fee: $350 Description: Peter is a sweet boy who was owned by a family who travels a lot, unfortunately they never came for him, and he was an inside dog. I have a beautiful mixed brown coat with white socks and an off-centered stripe on my face. I don't talk much but I might whine for a bit if you leave and don't take me along, I don't want to be left behind again! I am quite content playing on my own and will play a bit with a squeaky toy or a bone. I will fetch, but I do get bored rather quickly.  I am eager to please and will put myself in a timeout if you tell me I'm naughty for, well, for doing something I guess I shouldn't have done. I take treats nicely and am learning to sit and wait for my meals. I like other dogs but am 50/50 on cats. They are quite interesting. I love to go outside and go for walks. I am always on the lookout for deer. This sweet boy is playful and loves affection! I am searching for my family! Could that be with you?        We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs by 6 months of age. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months of age, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are 6 months to 1 year or age. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days.  at one of our preferred clinics. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. November 24, 2024, 5:21 pm

Story
Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs! Updated: 11/24/2024 Dog Name: Trooper (was Griffin when he first arrived in WI) Sex: Male Litter: GJ Litter Estimated Breed Mix: Boxer Mix Approximate DOB: 3/3/24 Approximate Weight: 58 lbs. Neuter Status: Trooper has been neutered Description:Trooper (originally his name was Griffin) first came to Wisconsin as an ~8 week old puppy. He was adopted quickly, but is now being surrendered back to the rescue. His adopter feels that they aren't the right match for each other, as he doesn't seem to enjoy things that she does, like camping.   Trooper loves people, kids, and cats. He is a very playful boy who will even play with the cat! He loves tug-of-war, fetch, and to chase his tail. He's still a puppy, so he's still got puppy energy. At times he can be a couch potato who loves to cuddle too. He's a food motivated boy, which should help his next adopter when continuing his training.  Thus far in his training, he knows sit, down, leave it, off, stay, walk, and heel. He's also housebroken.   The first picture is of him today, the others are of him as a puppy and his parents. Story
Introducing Tutti, the lovable Boxer mix with a heart full of affection and a zest for life! Hi, I'm Tutti, a spirited and affectionate Boxer mix ready to bring joy to your life! With my charming personality and playful nature, I'm the perfect companion for anyone seeking a loyal and loving pet. I absolutely adore my humans and thrive on cuddles and quality time together. Whether we're snuggled up on the couch or enjoying a leisurely walk in the park, I'll be right by your side, wagging my tail with excitement. I find great pleasure in the company of my loved ones and will shower you with endless affection and loyalty. One of my favorite pastimes is chasing balls and toys. Throw one my way, and I'll happily engage in an enthusiastic game of fetch. I'm always up for outdoor adventures, so count me in for long walks, hikes, or exploring new places. The fresh air and open spaces truly bring out the best in me! Having a four-legged friend unfortunately isn't going to be in the cards for me. I'll do best in a home where I am the only pet. I take pride in my impeccable house manners. I am housebroken and have mastered the art of kennel training, though I must admit that I have a soft spot for the couch or your cozy bed. After a day full of activities, nothing makes me happier than curling up beside you for a well-deserved snuggle session. If you're looking for an affectionate, fun-loving, and loyal companion, look no further than me, Tutti! Together, we'll create cherished memories and embark on countless adventures. I'm ready to become an integral part of your loving home and bring an abundance of joy and companionship into your life. So, what are you waiting for? Let's start our incredible journey together! **Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states. Adoption fee is $350 unless otherwise noted above. Puppies under 1 year of age accept application for families with children over 6 years of age for large breeds and over 8 years of age for small breeds. Since they are still puppies, dogs under 1 will require a basic obedience and puppy training class, and spay/neuter at the owners expense. Story
Sweet Gretel came to us all the way from down south in Missouri, and she is so ready for a forever home. Gretel is very sweet and laid back, and she's always down for a good old snuggle session. Gretel loves people and other dogs and although we haven't tested her with cats, we think she'd be totally fine with a feline friend also. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped, heartworm tested, receive prevention while in our care, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. If you're interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at sftsrescue.org/available-dogs
