Story
Hi there… I’m Gabby Sue A 58 lb spayed liver/white/roan Brittany/GSP/Mix girl with a whole lot of love to give I’m what you’d call the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. I’ll have my little bursts of energy (because, well… zoomies are important ), and then I’m right back by your side, ready to snuggle up and be your couch buddy. Honestly… I’d be perfectly happy being your full-time cuddle companion. I really love my people… like, “I’d rather be right under you than pose for pictures” kind of love Because I love so big, I’d do best as your one and only pup—so I can soak up all the attention and give it right back to you tenfold. I’ll also need a physical fenced yard so I can safely enjoy my outdoor time and little bursts of fun. My story almost didn’t have a happy ending… I was scheduled for euthanasia, my babies were taken away, and I was so scared and crying But kind people stepped in just in time—and now I’m safe, loved, and ready for my real forever home. I’m healthy, heartworm & tick negative, and on prevention—just waiting for someone to choose me. All I want is a home full of love… and someone to call mine The adoption fee for OK/Gabby Sue,  who lives in Tulsa, OK  is $325, (which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making OK/Gabby Sue part of your family, please complete the online application by visiting www.nbran.org .  Please let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  Also, please email the state coordinator of OK/Gabby Sue-Melinde Waddle @ macgammy@gmail.com  Once approved by your state coordinator, I will be able to talk to you on Gabby Sue.   Transportation can be arranged up  to 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.  May 21, 2026, 3:00 pm

Story
Meet Your New Best Friend! Jayce is a 3-year-old Brittnay Mix who is looking for his forever home. While he might be a little shy when you first meet him, give him a moment to come out of his shell, and you'll find a funny, bouncy, and deeply loving companion. Jayce is a "paws-on" kind of dog! He is famous for his hugs and will spend his time trying to wrap his paws around you if he isn't already trying to curl up in your lap. He is the perfect blend of a lounge partner and a playmate. Because of his cautious temperament, Jayce has some specific needs to help him feel safe and successful: No Other Dogs: He prefers being the "only child" and can be reactive toward strange dogs. Quiet Environment: He would not enjoy the high-stress environment of a dog park. Patient Humans: He needs an owner who understands he needs to approach new things at his own pace. No Strangers (at first): He can be vocal with people he doesn't know, but his loyalty to his inner circle is unmatched. If you have the patience to let him blossom, you will be rewarded with a level of love and loyalty that only a dog like Jayce can give. He is ready to be your most devoted friend. Jayce's adoption fee is $325 to offset the cost of vetting and help other rescues in need. He is currently located in Georgia and can be transported up to 1400 miles via our Canine Railroad. Story
WARNING: Extremely Adorable Brittany Boy Ahead Hiyaaaaa! My name is Jack Flash Yes… I know… cool name, right? Sounds fast and exciting. And while I can still zoom around when necessary, these days I mostly specialize in professional cuddling, snack supervision, and being ridiculously handsome. I’m an 8.9-year-old, 48 lb orange & white Brittany gentleman with soft ears, sweet eyes, and a heart that’s basically made of marshmallows. I’m neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative, tick negative, and fully trained in the very important art of stealing hearts. Things I love include: Treats Playing ☀️ Yard patrol ️ Hanging out with my humans Belly rubs (please and thank you) Other dogs Following you around like your fuzzy little assistant Now listen… don’t let the “senior” thing fool you. I still have pep in my step and plenty of love to give. The nice thing about us mature boys? We already know life is about love, naps, snacks, and being your very best buddy. I do need a physical fenced yard because a gentleman needs a proper place to sniff, explore, and keep watch for suspicious squirrels. It’s important work. Honestly, I’m just looking for a family to adore me forever… and maybe share a few snacks. I promise to repay you with loyalty, laughs, cuddles, and the occasional goofy Brittany smile. So… what do you think? Ready to let this adorable orange-and-white nugget become your new best friend? The adoption fee for OK/Jack Flash,  who lives in Tulsa, OK  is $350, (which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making OK/Jack Flash part of your family, please complete the online application by visiting www.nbran.org .  Please let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  Also, please email the state coordinator of OK/Jack Flash-Melinde Waddle @ macgammy@gmail.com  Once approved by your state coordinator, I will setup talking to the foster of Jack Flash. Story
Hello, my name is Scooby and I am living at this lovely rescue at the moment where I’m patiently waiting for my own special human. I’m fond of walking on a leash and playing in the yard. I was living for a while with a couple who took me in from the streets, but they had to move and could not take me. I’m thankful I have a place to stay for now, but I’d really like to get into my own home with my own pack. Look deep into my soulful amber eyes and consider bringing me into the family. I will be your most loyal companion. I walk well on a leash, I can learn commands, I will follow you anywhere. I’m not a huge dog, a comfortable size, and I can adapt myself to your living situation. I get along well with my fellow canines and children. We can all play together every day! What could be better? I’m about 3yrs old, HW negative, up to date on all my vaccinations, freshly neutered, so I will be ready to go when you arrive. Please hurry. If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Nell started out in life as the feral pup of a feral mom. She was rescued at a young age and has been in our care virtually her entire life. She has lived at our home base Windsong Ranch and in two different foster homes. She's currently in a foster home where she has really polished her leash-walking skills. She sleeps in a crate at night and takes daily leash walks. She enjoys time in the yard with two other senior dogs - a male Great Pyrenees and a female Pyr/Anatolian Shepherd mix. Nell is a very sweet dog, easy to manage. She has lived with a variety of dogs -- different breeds and ages and sizes. She has also lived with cats, though that was several years ago, so if you have cats, she would need careful introductions. Nell enjoys petting and brushing but she isn't demanding, making her the perfect dog for an adopter with a busy schedule. She can motivate you to take those daily walks you need for your own health and well-being, and she will gladly nap nearby as you work from home or watch TV. If you're ready to add this sweet girl to your family, complete the application here. Nell's Original Story Nell was just 3 months old when she, her mom, and two siblings were picked up by animal control in rural Oklahoma. They were picked up from a property where they were in the pasture with goats. Animal control had to use a catch-pole to catch them because the whole little family was showing a fair amount of fear-based aggression. Sadly, the animal control officer made the decision to euthanize one puppy, saying s/he was too aggressive. It's really hard to imagine a 3-month old puppy being so aggressive that an experienced person couldn't have dealt with the issue, but seeing that the animal control officer was willing to put down a puppy, a local person volunteered to foster mom and her remaining two puppies until she could find a rescue to take them in. When we brought them here, the puppies (whom we named Nell and Maynard) were very frightened, and they tried to avoid my attempts to touch them, but they were never aggressive. They simply acted like feral pups who had ZERO experience with humans, other than their very unfortunate interaction with animal control. Their mom (whom we named Violet) was very aggressive in her attempts to protect her puppies, so it surprised us that the mom survived and a puppy was killed by animal control. The mom's aggression made it a challenge to work with the pups, so we separated them, with mom moving into the house and the pups staying in one of our barn kennels. After she was old enough to be spayed, we brought Nell inside the house. Ironically, her mom Violet acted like she didn't know Nell at all, but another one of our Great Pyrenees mix adult females acted as a surrogate mom to her. They shared a giant 54" crate at night and usually went outside for potty breaks together. Nell was making a little bit of progress in learning to trust me, but then we moved her and her brother to another foster home where we hoped they would get  more attention than we could give them and make more progress. Unfortunately, even after two years in that home, we didn't see any real progress, so we moved Nell and Maynard back to Windsong Ranch. They are once again moving in the right direction -- they are learning to walk on a leash and to sleep in a crate.  They are still very skittish, but they will go outside to take care of their potty business and then come back in the house. They observe the other dogs and sometimes engage in play with them. Mostly it seems that Nell and Maynard are learning what it means to be a house dog with people who love them. We try to pet each one every time we walk past them, maybe just a 5-second interaction, but it gets repeated multiple times a day, with the hope being that our persistence and consistency in having positive interactions with them will show Nell and Maynard that we can be trusted, that not all humans are terrible people. We would love to find a foster or adopter for Nell who could help her move to the next level in her journey to being a family pet. We think she would do best in a home with another dog who is confident, who loves their humans, and who would enjoy playing with Nell.  Taking her on a daily leash walk could help improve her skills and increase her confidence. If you have the patience and compassion to love Nell and work with her to overcome her difficult start in life, please complete the application on our website at www.bluebonnetrescue.org.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 13, 2026, 3:56 pm
