Story
Sweet Abby is sugar, spice, and everything nice. A perfect recipe of pure preciousness, she is a 5 year (DOB 3/30/2021-exact) orange and white female spayed purebred Brittany. Abby is up to date on all vaccines and a bonafide lovebug. Even though Abby needs a little weight loss, 65 lbs. is not her ideal weight, she is still remarkably close to perfection. Other than some excess weight, Abby is healthy. Abby is calm, eager to please, and extremely affectionate. She had been with her owners since she was a puppy, but unfortunately, one of the owners was having health issues and it was discovered she was allergic to dogs. Abby is housetrained, crate trained and has great house manners. She is very laid back and friendly to adults, as well as children. Abby loves to take rides in the car and will be your best friend. She is not extremely active and has a submissive personality. She is good with both dogs and cats. Because Abby is extremely food motivated, she will need help on her weight loss journey. According to Abby’s foster dad, she is a perfect candidate for an invisible fence. She pulls a little when walking on a leash, but nothing extreme. She enjoys walks with her foster dad and foster fur sibling multiple times a week. As a matter of fact, she has lost some weight over the brief time she has been at her foster home. With food portion management and regular exercise, Abby will be at an ideal weight in no time. Are you looking for a wonderful adult Brittany to join your family? Abby is your gal! Abby’s adoption fee is $350, and she is being fostered in middle north Tennessee. Just a reminder that NBRAN will transport adopted dogs to their approved homes up to 1400 miles, with the adopter being responsible for the last approximately 100 miles. Story
Boone is a 2.5-year-old goofy, happy boy who is always smiling and wanting to have fun with his sister Ginger, his foster siblings, and his people.  Play groups are his fun time.  He loves running, toys, and treats.  Boone is extremely affectionate and wants his family to include him in all their activities.  He is quite the cuddler once he has had his exercise.  Boone’s foster mom is working with him on manners and commands.  He loves to please and is coming along nicely on his training.  His new family should expect to continue with his training which is not only a bonding experience but will provide Boone the structure he needs to provide him with confidence.  Boone and Ginger’s owner died, and they were surrendered to a shelter.  They are very bonded and will only be adopted together.  Boone and Ginger will need a home with a good-sized yard surrounded by a secure 6-foot-tall privacy fence.  Boone and Ginger love to go on squirrel patrol and will need daily exercise to keep them from getting into mischief - they are both athletic and adventurous enough to clear a fence and go on walkabout if not provided with enough stimulation by their family.  Multiple walks a day are mandatory for their well-being and good manners.  These two would also be great with runners who would love to have these two by their side.  Boone and Ginger are the perfect pair for Brittany lovers who understand their energy, exercise needs, affectionate nature, and smarts.  Boone is neutered, current on his vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.  Boone’s adoption fee is $400 (combined adoption fee for Boone and Ginger is $800.00).   If you are interested in making Boone and Ginger members of your family, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the online application under the Adopt tab.  If you have questions after you complete the application, please contact Patti at 801.641.4053.  A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process.  Please realize that all our dogs are placed in the most appropriate home for their individual needs.  We do not operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. July 22, 2026, 9:23 pm

Story
Miss Bella is a lovely lady who is estimated to be between 10-12 years old weighing about 27lbs.  Even though Bella is a senior, she does need her daily walk.  She is currently walking 1-2 miles daily, after which she is content to sleep and relax the rest of the day.  She is a love sponge and will happily accept your pets and if you’re lucky some couch cuddles. She is good with other dogs in the home and would do well with a playmate, but she would also love to be the apple of your eye having your undivided attention during her golden years.   Bella is potty trained and has done well being left alone in the house with her dog sister. While she has good house manners overall, she is a bit of an opportunist and if there is unattended food on the table or counter, she will do a bit of counter surfing to go after it. Like most Brittanys, Bella enjoys looking at and stalking birds and squirrels and needs a home with a yard that is secured by a 6 ft fence to patrol and chase small critters. She is not a jumpy dog and loves meeting new people and gets very excited playing with her humans.  Bella is an absolute sweetheart who melts the hearts of everyone she meets. If you’re looking for a golden girl who will love you to the moon and back, look no further than this bundle of joy. Bella is spayed, current on her vaccinations and microchipped.  Her adoption fee is $200 ($150.00 for a senior).  If you are interested in making Bella a member of your family, and have the time, energy, and love to give her, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the online adoption application form under the Adopt tab.  A phone interview, home visit, and vet check will be required as part of the approval process.  For more information after completing an application, contact Patti at 801.641.4053.  Please realize all our dogs are placed in the most appropriate home for their individual needs.  We do not operate on a first come, first serve basis.   July 22, 2026, 9:23 pm
