He lived with my mom’s boyfriend pretty much as his dog’s dog, would follow him around and just be with him until he passed away. Now he’s just left alone in his son’s room or outside. He doesn’t listen very well, needs proper training and patience. He can be motivated by food. He is very sweet and kind to people, loves to lay on your lap as he is a miniature. He doesn’t know how to play with dog toys really, loves to go on walks though and is super easy to walk since he’s so small. He won’t bark at other dogs or people, only barks when he wants to be fed or let out but not excessively. He is very nice with my sisters, never has bitten anyone before, super submissive to other dogs. But he cannot be with cats at all, he will try to go after them. I’m not sure the last time he’s been to the vet, he is microchipped, he needs a collar as he’s pretty much just in his harness here. Needs help with his skin by just maintaining hygiene. She in progress getting spay in month of Aug so she will be ready to go to her forever home. A gradual introduction could work. • Kid Friendly: Yes, he’s good with kids. • Leash Trained: Partially – he’s making progress but still needs full training. • Bite History: No history of biting, friendly with people. • Energy Level: Playful and curious, needs an experienced handler to guide his training and behavior. Additional Information: • Current Owner's Situation: Owner must rehome due to allergies in the household and living circumstances that do not accommodate a dog. • Hours Left Alone: Up to 8 hours a day during the workweek. • Training Needs: Needs full house training and leash training. With some consistency, he can improve quickly!
