I do love turkey though :) I am Wishbone, and I am a bull terrier/beagle mixed boy with a story to tell! I am so smart like a bull terrier- somewhat stubborn, like a bull terrier, but I follow my NOSE like a beagle! I am super cute, only about 40# and I am pretty active. I love to have a hard playing buddy, no small animals (like kitties) as I have a prey drive- like a bull terrier.. you see where I am going with this, right?? I would love have an active family, kids older than grade school as I love a moving target and smaller ones don't quite understand that. I am a love bug, and once tired out I am the bestest cuddler! I was pulled from a small rural doggie slammer where I was on 'the list' all just due to space or lack there of. I probably would be doing life as my chances of getting out weren't looking promising. But low and behold I, along with my sister, Cheri got our reprieve!! We are doing amazing in our foster home and are ready to find families of our very own. I am just a baby yet at about 4 months and I come in at around 22lbs. That should put me around the 40-50lb area when I get myself fully growed up. I'm a friendly social fella that is pretty much a blob of clay ready to be molded into the bestest family addition...YOUR family addition! I do great with people and other pups. Although I haven't met any of those creatures y'all call a cat yet! Maisy is a 2 year old exuberant and joyful terrier mix girl in search of a forever home. At only about 8 weeks old, Maisy’s rescue story began when she was found abandoned on the side of a road. She was taken to a foster home where she got tons of love and training, and she even earned an AKC Star Puppy medal! After a few months in foster, Maisy was adopted by a wonderful family, but sadly her mom became ill and can no longer take care of her, so Maisy is back in the loving care of her original foster mom. Maisy’s foster mom says “she’s a really sweet and smart girl who absolutely loves people with her whole heart, and her exuberant tail wags show it. She loves being involved in whatever we’re doing, whether it’s chores, an adventure, or just chilling on the sofa. She gets along really well with friendly dogs and she loves cats and kittens! She also loves water and going for walks on the beach.” Maisy weighs 72 pounds. She is housebroken, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vetting. Hi there, I'm Precious. They say that I am called this because I am the most precious dog here at God's Dogs Rescue. I came to the rescue in October of 2022 to have a safe place for me to have and raise my puppies. All my puppies were adopted by the end of January 2023, but I am still here looking for my furever home. I am a bigger girl, but this just means there is more of me to cuddle you, because I love cuddling it's one of my top 3 favorite things. 1) Food- I love food and will do almost anything you ask if you have a treat involved. 2) Cuddles- on your lap, on the couch, in the bed wherever there is a comfy space with pillows or a human I want to be there. 3) Kisses- I have a love of giving kisses to people, especially kids. Although not everyone likes it when I try to kiss them and that makes me sad. 4) Honorable mention- I like going on walks or in the car for a ride, although I prefer just lazing around at home. My current fosters say that I am a "house hippo with springs in my feet whatever that means; I just know sometimes, when I get super happy, I feel like I could fly- or jump really high. I love their kids and am very good with them even the tiny ones. I get along with most other dogs I meet, although I have a big personality about me, because I'm a boss, so sometimes other dogs don't like that about me. I tolerate cats although if they give me too much attitude or growl at me, I can't help but to give them piece of my mind. I like most new people I meet although I had a rough start in life so sometimes, I can be a little wary with men, with time though I adjust, and we can become best friends forever. A few more little details about me: I am 3 years old I am a Boxer/Shepherd mix I am great with kids I am good with Cats and Dogs I am crate-trained I am housebroken I can be adopted in Texas or anywhere in the US too!
