Story
Howdy from Texas! My name is Tank, and I am a handsome Boxer/Mastiff mix, almost 1-year-old, about 80 lbs, and I was hanging out at a convenience store in Castroville, Texas, trying to make friends with the customers so someone would take me home. Thankfully, my plan worked when a lady pulled up in her car, and she is now my foster mom. I have been having a fun time playing with the other foster dogs while getting ready for adoption… vaccines, neuter, microchip, preventatives, lots of love and socialization, although I was already social, LOL! I am a super friendly boy who gets along great with all people, young and old, other dogs, and kitty cats. I have gobs of energy and enjoy playtime and outdoor activities like walking, hiking, camping, tug-of-war, running zoomies, or any kind of adventure! I am good on a leash and love rides in the car, and I’ll jump right in on my own when you call me. Fun fact: I am a total foodie! I’ll eat any treat offered, but I especially like carrots. I am also the affectionate type, not embarrassed to share kisses or snuggle beside you on the sofa. I am a very nice playmate for grownups, kids, or dogs, and although I will retrieve a ball when thrown, I’m still learning to bring it back to you. I’m well-behaved, housebroken, doggy-door trained, and I do not guard my food or toys. As a matter of fact, one of my doggy friends and I will frequently share food bowls. I am just a very nice boy and a total looker who can rock a bowtie, and I know I will make a wonderful forever dog! Inquire about me today. * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Story
Hi, my name is Jennings! My foster mother calls me Jenkins, which is unusual, but she also calls me Buddy. I like that. She also calls me a good boy. I love that! I walk okay on a leash. I like to sniff, so I am told I zigzag. I am house-trained. And I sleep in a crate. I need a little help getting into the crate at night (tossing in treats helps), but then I settle down and go to sleep without a fuss. In general, I am a quiet guy. I do talk sometimes, but that's usually when I'm in my crate, and I need to go to the bathroom. They say I'm a mix, something about Heinz 57. I really don’t know. I am a lover! I love snuggling on a couch. I'm very good at giving kisses. I can even wash your face if you let me. I know how to sit and take treats gently when you give them to me. If given a little time to relax, I bet I can learn tricks for those treats! I would love to find my furever home and become someone's best buddy, be it on the couch (They say I snore, but I don’t believe it) or going for a hike. So do you want to go for a walk? Note on other Animals. Jenning gets along with other dogs. He seems neutral and respects space. He does not seem to care about cats. He wants to meet them but has not been fixated on them. One of the cats in his foster home walked right behind him and he did not even look. Watch his video of him playing at the doggie park, being silly, and showing how he does well with his foster sister at https://youtube.com/shorts/fYk_zSaV83Q?feature=share Go ahead and apply to adopt this sweet pup!! He won't disappoint! Jennings is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative.
