*BULLDOG EXPERIENCE PREFERRED!* Adopter needs to be prepared for typical Bulldog breathing issues and medical concerns. Meet our super fun and outgoing Bulldog boy named Jelly Bean! Jelly Bean is about 2.5 years old, and he came to our shelter after he was found roaming in town. We don't know about his previous home history, but we know he is a super friendly guy who loves to get attention. Jelly Bean can get a bit jumpy when he is excited, but he listens to correction. He has his bursts of energy, but he slows down pretty quickly after a lap or 2 in our backyard. Jelly Bean has your typical Bulldog breathing issues that make it more difficult for him to breathe when he is worked up. He will also need to be watched during hot weather to make sure he does not over exert himself. Jelly Bean is a roly poly boy who just wants a family to call his own! He seems fine with other dogs and he can go to a home with children 10 years old and older. We are preferring Jelly Bean's adopters have experience owning Bulldogs. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal. Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments. ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
